Whether you are a surfer, swimmer, scuba diver, triathlete, or anyone else who wears a wetsuit.... You gotta hang it up to dry! You want your wetsuit to dry quickly, without being damaged in the process. Hanging your wetsuit over a railing doesn’t allow proper airflow, and the UV sun can “melt” the neck or other parts of the neoprene, and overall reduce the lifespan of your wetsuit. When you use the Ho Stevie! Wetsuit Hanger, you give your wetsuit the most airflow and shoulder support. Hang your wetsuit in the shade, and it will dry quickly, ready for your next play date with the water!

Decent product with room for improvement
I like these hangers, in general, and I think it deserved 4 stars rating. Here is a list of things that prevent me from giving it 5 stars1. Edges are very sharp after molding or whatever manufacturing process is used to make these. I spent 10 min on each hanger rounding edge of shoulders.2. The hook could have a longer "neck" - it's too short for hooded wetsuits. Also, the little extra curve at the hook's end could interfere with thick hanging bars.3. The hanger has only one fixed position - with shoulder pads fully "opened" to the almost horizontal position. it would be great if shoulder could be fixed in "half-way" too. I wear XL and this hanger is properly sized for it, but for smaller wetsuits ic could be too big. With this extra stop (half lowered position) this hanger would be more universal.

Amazing quality! Extend the life of your wetsuite
Dudeski’s - IF your a real surfer... and IF you surf the BIGGEST, RADDEST and GNARLIEST waves (like in BELMAR, NJ) THEN YOU NEED THIS!Ho Stevie does it again! He always has great, quality products at a fair and affordable price!I have to admit, I didn’t purchase this for its advertised drying properties, I bought it since it would help extend the life of my suite. Although i was overwhelmingly please to find that it actually does dry the wetsuite much quicker!I first tied the hanger on a wetsuite that hanging in my 60 degree basement from a surf about 5 days prior... the outside was dry but the inside was still wet! (a 4/3 - I just checked the chest area inside) And cold! Well I put the suite on the new Ho hanger and the next day (12 hrs later) I went for a surf and was surprised that the inside was fairly dry! Amazing!!! Usually it takes my winter suites forever to dry since it’s in a cold basement and I rinse out the inside after each surf. After that surf, I rinsed and hung the suit again- the next day (with a completely soaked wetsuite) yielded similar results. Obviously not 100% dry overnight but for a thick wetsuite, dry enough that it’s not cold to put on the next morning! And your feet aren’t getting caught up trying to pull on a suit in 30 degree air temps! But the main reason I purchased this was to extend the life of my wetsuits. I take good care of them to get the most out of them, but one of the first mode of complete failure over the years is the stretching out of the shoulders from hanging to dry on a plastic hanger... then the shoulder material gets worn out and starts to leak. I posted a few pics showing the difference... I’m really pleased! Plus the suite dries quicker so it’s not as much weight hanging and pulling it down on the hanger. The hanger also holds open the whole suit pretty well, including the legs and arms. As seen in one of my pics, it holds open the neck area a good 2 inches to introduce good airflow. All around amazing!Lastly- I was wondering why the hanger has a button to fold and collapse itself... the question was answered the first time I tried to hang a chest entry/zip suit! The hanger is so big that it will not fit in without collapsing and then opening it inside! Great design idea!!!Overall - just like all of Ho Stevie’s products- this thing is worth every penny!! And it’s already cheap and a good deal! Extend the life of your suite and don’t ever have the excuse of not paddling out cause your suite is wet and cold! Thanks Bro Ho Stevie!

Not able to support weight of wet wetsuit
I bought one of these and loved it. So I bought a second one since I seem to always have a wetsuit that needs to be drip dried. One day I went to check on my hanging wetsuit and found it on the ground with the hanger broken. Somehow the folding arm of the hanger gave way. Upon deeper investigation I found there's a small plastic triangle that locks the arm into the extended position. The plastic triangle is so small that the weight of the wet wetsuit caused it to break. They really should update the design to fix this since the primary purpose of the hanger is for wet wetsuits. In the mean time I just put a screw through the plastic and it works great now. Much stronger.I would still buy another one and just make my DIY modification.

Trash
First center piece popped open.Second - it simply DOES NOT WORKI mean, it might work if you have a 2mm wetsuit that is dry but it cannot take any serious weight. If you are looking to wash your wetsuit and then hang it to dry, THIS IS NOT IT !!!I seriously think that most of the good reviews are fake because I really REALLY wanted this to work - it simply did not. We are surfers and/or divers and we need solid equipment - and this is not even close.

Your wetsuit keeps you warm.....do a little something to say thanks to it
For years I'd do my best to find coat hangers with wide shoulders to hang my wetsuits, but even those would leave crease marks in the shoulders where I knew the weight of all that rubber was trying to tear my wetsuit apart. Not anymore. For just a few bucks you can give your wetsuit the support it deserves. not only that, this hanger makes it very easy to flush your westuit out with fresh water The chest area is held open and water can easily flow through the whole suit. The fact that the arms fold down in the middle makes getting this into chest zip wetsuits a breeze. I would imagine it would work for no zip wetsuits as well. Think of all that neck stretching you are saving, and remember what it feels like when your suit gets flushed through the neck hole on a cold day.Do your wetuit and yourself a favor...buy this hanger. Extend the life of the suit you spent good money on, make it easier to clean, and allow it to dry faster in case you're lucky enough to get back to back swells.

Great hanger - Not just for wetsuits!
I got this for hanging my motorcycle jacket. It's a many-pocketed kevlar beast with integrated semi-rigid foam armor padding. Regular wire hangers bend under its weight - it weighs way more than my 7mm full wetsuit. Stronger wood hangers kink the shoulder armor, making it uncomfortable. This Ho Stevie! folding hanger holds it easily, and conforms perfectly to the shoulders. Now that I've checked it out, I'll have to order another one for dive trips. The super wide vented arms are perfect for protecting the neoprene, and encouraging airflow to speed drying.

Reduces the drying time so I don't have a cold, wet wetsuit for the next session
Love how much quicker the wetsuit drys on this hanger, as opposed to just draped over my surfboard or bike handle bars.It is easy to insert the hanger, when folded, through the wetsuit front zip opening. Slip it in, press the button, open up the arms into the wetsuit sleeves, listen for that click, then pull the wetsuit neck over the top of the hanger. I like how large and sturdy the hanger hook is.
