Perfect Fit
Although these things are not easy to install, they fit just like factory, and do what they're supposed to do... which is a lot better than buying a new headlight assembly.

E39 bmw headlight adjustment
The oe plastic parts was broken and i replaced them by these. A little bit of a hassle to install. Requires patience and a long narrow screwdriver. It has held up great so far. These will save you from buying new headlights.

Worked great for a 2001 530, E39 w/ HID headlights
Watched many videos on repairing my lights without opening them. Knew I needed these parts to replace the broken pieces jiggling around inside my headlights. This is exactly what I needed for my E39, 2001 530 with HID headlights. With A LOT of patience, was able to replace the broken adjusters without heating and pulling plastic lenses off. Worked the adjusters into position through the lamp holes. IT CAN BE DONE. These fit perfectly and the price was great. No issues. Recommended.

Rebuilt a set of 2001 E39 Xenons -
As another person mentioned, these are very tight in the threads of the adjuster screw. This is my 6th set of headlights I have rebuilt, and this adjuster worked ok, but highly suggest some lubricant on the adjusting screw. I was originally using the "top" allen adjuster but it was so tight I began to have issues with the cog mechanism, so I had to use the 10mm directly from the back of the screw. Using that and some lube, it worked out fine. Tolerance was ok elsewhere on my two sets, but the screw threads was the issue. Still worked fine though.

Perfect Replacement 2000 528i Angel Eyes
So my car was built in 09/1999. Not sure if facelift or not. But I ordered another set for an different vendor by just decoding a 2000 528i and it said I needed the skinny pair. After baking headset and splitting them I realized I had the wrong type of adjuster. Found this seller and had correct part in 2 days. Luckily I didn't need the car or I would have been in a bindBest to check your headlight style so you can order correct adjuster type in your 1st try.Rated 5 stars as these are perfect replacements. Someone else on here rated it a 3 or 4 because it has no threads. It's a self threading adjuster! Just line it up and twist adjuster screw and it will begin to thread.

Great aftermarket option
Great adjusters, better material than stock. If u have an 03, then you cant bake your headlights open to replace the adjusters, you have to go in through the bulb sockets and perform surgery.... do yourself a favor and get a set of long locking hemostats

Perfect fit, hard to replace but worth it
Hard to get to without cutting a hole but doable and well worth the money to have working adjusters again

DO NOT BUY: What I got wasn’t what is being advertised
This is not the correct part. For BMW M5s with production date 9/2000 through the 2003 models (the ones with facelifted headlights) you need the adjusters that are in the picture of the Amazon listing. But, what was sent to me is for older versioned BMW 5 series. I recommend going with a different seller or a more reputable source that knows what products are needed for specific models of vehicles.
