it's very hard to get the backing off. they stick very good. but I have waisted a lot of sheets trying to get the backing off. once you peel the backing off you almost have to use the entire sheet. cause once you start pulling the backing off, there's no way you can reuse it. it's just too hard to get the backing started pulling it off

Hey folks don't pay extra to have someone laminate your stuff. I just do it myself. Have used this for ages and whensomeone ask me "do you want to pay an extra $1.00 or $2.00 to have that laminated?" I say no. Found it years agoin office supply store, and now I just get it at a better price here. One box lasts us a long time. Use it for making check lists,permits, medication lists just about anything you take in and out of your wallet. But be careful some documents will tell you notto laminate, like #ss cards. Also good for waterproof paper, to some degree at least.

Started with the huge 24 inch roll and found this size, so much easier to use. Same adhesion and clearness as the big rolls, just easier to use. They preform as described.

Just wanted to let folks know that an earlier review is right; these sheets aren't as thick as the ones from about 10 years ago. I know because I still have some of the old ones! I don't agree that it's half the thickness of the earlier version 'cause I suspect one would need a microscope to accurately figure that one out. I would have preferred the same thickness as the older version, but since I don't plan on trying to rip a double-sided laminated item in two, it'll probably be OK. My main concern is that it will still be as waterproof; which is probably due more to the adhesive and the size of the border, not the plastic itself.

I bought some self adhesive laminate sheets many years ago. I have used it for everything from important documents to newspaper comics and articles. I finally ran out and I've been looking for that style of laminate at a good price for over a year. So I ordered these. As I was starting this review I read a review where the product was passed it's use by date. I peeled back a couple of sheets and thankfully the laminate was supple and worked perfectly. Now as long as it stays reasonably clear I will be completely satisfied.

I'm new to this brand and I am highly pleased with these laminate sheets. First of all, they are a bit over sized so it is very simple and easy to position 8 1/2" paper in the center - just a bit of trim and you have a perfect fit! Another great feature is that you don't have too work hard to remove the laminate from the backing paper - there is a 3/4" strip that is easily identified so that the back comes away from the laminate sheet quickly. I love it!Both these features in addition to the handy grid lines on the backing paper make this laminate the best I have ever used for crafting and general office needs!

I purchased this product to use with a gelli plate instead of for laminating. There is enough adhesive on the backside of the sheet to pick up paint and add other products ie foil, perfect pearls, gilded leaf etc. Although you can use shipping tape, these sheets provide larger surface coverage and can be used with an 8 x 10 gelli plate. The sheets are easy to remove from the backing provided And can be used to layer over other designs and reproduced into a print.

Exactly what I ordered. Very pleased with them.

Son de muy buena calidad, tienen una ceja que ayuda mucho la aplicación, pegan muy bien y no son tan gruesas, estan perfectas para stickers que es en lo que yo las uso. las recomiendo 100%

A little difficult to put on a first, but once I got the hang of it I finished laminating my paperwork easily. I wish there were more in the box for price of these. I probably wont order again because of the price.

I was told this wasn't made any more and I was told I would never find it but of course Amazon has everything! I'm incredibly happy with my purchase.

the backing is hard to peel off of these plastic sheets. Once it's off and affixed to paper, the product looks good and is not removable.

As it is, easy to fit, strong and durable.
