Good size and look
Installed these on my 96 H-D FXD. Didn't want big bags, these look good and will hold a light jacket or sweatshirt. I agree with others that the snaps are a pain to squeeze open. Overall happy with them and hey - they're made in the USA 🇺🇸.

Perfect for my 2014 HD XL Iron 883N
Updated Review: More than a year and 15,000 miles after mounting them on my 2014 883 Iron, these bags continue to be a great product. Although I did not install brackets, there has only been minor wear on the back of the bags where they rub against the shock bolts. Also with regular cleaning with Pledge, the bags still look brand new. The tie downs that come with the bags are still in great condition, no fraying whatsoever. The bags have kept they're shape, despite having stuffed them full of anything I could manage. I take them off every time I wash my bike and are easy to re-install. I haven't noticed any damage to the fender paint under my seat. The paint on my Iron is the hard candy factory custom paint so not sure if that's a factor. Would buy again.Perfect for my 2014 Harley Davidson XL Iron 883N. No relocation needed of lights nor side mounted license plate. Installed as a throw over, under my Mustang low tripper solo seat. Do recommend purchasing saddlebag support brackets. Not absolutely necessary, but without the support brackets, the bags do rest on the shock bolts which would probably end up wearing on the bags. I didn't want something really huge, just for the occasional run to the store and lugging my stuff to work and back home. First run was to the market for a six pack of beer (bottles) and no problem re: fit and no sagging. Black buckles go great with my blacked out Iron. Recommended! Note: I actually purchased this through Amazon. A little bit more expensive for the bags, but with free shipping to Hawaii, overall cost was less than anyone else. Yeah Amazon!

They seem pretty nice so far
Got these bags for my V Star 650, and I'm quite pleased with them. It was a bit of a hassle getting them situated right since without actually hard mounting them you have to strap them down to something to keep them from flopping around all over the place. Once they were tied down, though, they have turned out to be pretty nice, convenient bags. The material looks like leather, but is very obviously not leather when you touch it. It's vinyl or something of the like. No big deal there, it feels like it'll weather better than leather would. The build quality is decent, though I must say that while they are made well, they don't look like they were made with extreme precision or care. The inside is literally just lined with exposed plastic cardboard, which you can plainly see when the bags are opened. The buckles are stiff but work well; my only complaint with them is that they are a bit tricky to line up properly, and it's difficult to get them to snap together with one hand, especially when wearing gloves. Beyond that, the bags are well made and don't look like they're going to fall apart any time soon.I'll mention that they are detachable from the yoke via a rugged-looking zipper and some velcro, and I suppose with the right setup you could theoretically detach them and carry them around by the little handle sewn onto the back, but since the bags need to be strapped down to the bike to make them stable I can't see myself removing all the tie-downs just to pull the bags off and take them inside, but I could see how using velcro straps or something to tie them down could make this concept more viable. Still, in my case, I will probably not be using this feature since I think it would be too much of a hassle. I'm not even sure if that's what they intended the consumer to do with them, but why else would they sew in a handle? I don't know. Just thought I'd mention it.I got the compact version of the bags which kept them from looking gigantic on my bike. As such, they look pretty sleek and don't clutter up the look of the bike, but of course the amount of space inside is quite limited. I managed to get a scarf, jacket liner, sunglasses, and a pair of gloves in one bag. One bag can also fit a motorcycle cover with a little room to spare at the top, but unless it's folded perfectly it'll bulge out some around the sides. Again, not a flaw, just trying to give an idea of what kind of space you're dealing with. Also, the insides are completely featureless; basically an empty box - again, not a flaw.I've had these for a few weeks now, and I am very happy with their ability to keep out moisture. I've been caught in the rain with them a couple of times, and I even left my bike out in the rain and forgot to cover it (I don't have a garage) so the bike got soaked, but everything inside was dry, save for a couple spots of moisture where water managed to sneak in the corners. They're not exactly water-tight, but still it was raining pretty hard and they did about as well as I could've hoped. The two long flaps work well to keep water out of the inside. Also, I've noticed no wear on these bags from the weather or anything since I've had them. The pictures of the bags off the bike are from the first day I got them, and the pictures of them actually on my bike are from about a month later, after they'd been out in some pretty severe weather and some pretty long rides, and they still look brand new. I guess a month isn't too long, but they seem to be holding up wellAll in all, great bags at a decent price. They are definitely what I was aiming for; they look nice, have a pretty good build quality, and are very convenient to have. Just don't expect to put much inside the compact version.

Its ok
I own a 2022 Honda Shadow Phantom and was in the market for a saddle bag or two. Previously I owned a Rebel 500 with the smaller OEM factory solo bag and I loved it. However, with this new bike I’m not sure what gives on the aftermarket support because there just isn’t a lot of options available. So fast forward to my purchase of these saddle bags. Below are a list of pros and cons based on some extensive observations and testing on the road.Pros- Perfect size, not to big, not too small.- The quick release clips are sturdy and do not feel cheap- The style is very attractive and looks good on blacked out spec bikesCons- If you want to do the bolt on option good luck. It was a headache getting it to go on with the flimsy bracket kit that was $80 extra.- You need a bracket of some sort to keep the bags from hitting your rim or anything else- I recommend Cobra brackets the fit and line up perfectly with the bag.- The quality of the synthetic leather is questionable long term, and I am not sure how it will hold up in the elements over time (i.e. Rain, dust, heat, etc.)- The inside lining is questionable in quality as well. It looks like some sort of reinforced cardboard material.- Although the quick release clips are useful to have the clips are VERY stiff and are not as easy as you might think to release.- The bag release with the zipper part is also overly difficult to unzip and release. In summary it’s just an “ok” bag. The only thing that stood out to me as unique was the style and the size. The price is not justified for this purchase but with so few options available for my specific bike I had to take a shot in the dark on this one.

2018 Harley Davidson Street Bob Install Instructions
It’s a nice looking bag not too bulky. Don’t waste your money on the mounting kit. If you have the holdfast hardware kit on your bike. I connected them on the bike, directly to the holdfast Harley mounts. Remove the old bolts and use 3’ 3/8 bolts, flat washers and lock washers. I also used pre drilled flat bar to protect the bag from moving towards the wheel. You can get that homedepot. Secured the bottom of the flat bar using 1/4” bolts, flat washers and locknuts.Requires a bit of drilling in the bags to make all the holes. I recommend once you have one mounted use the other one as a template for your next holes on the other bag. I also cut off the zippers and handles. The holdfast mounts still work well for my sissy bar after installed.

Decent value
Exactly what I expected, I mounted them as a throw over bag, already had bag brackets, a quick zip tie on the bottom of the bag so it doesn’t flop around, great size decent price, very pleased
