Fit System 90253 Passenger Side Mirror Glass, Chevrolet Impala, Impala Limited Models, Non-Foldaway Mirror

I needed more than the glass turns out but I used this temporarily to have my car pass inspection for a student driving test. Because I was missing the original broken mirror I had to purchase some double sided adhesive strips to help install this. But I was successful and if I had been covering an already intact mirror glass this would have been a permanent fix. It was an exact fit and a high quality mirror glass. I believe it was a good value for the price.

So my clumsy tail broke my side mirror backing out. I didn’t realize there was a freakin tree branch there and it shattered my mirror. I drove all over trying to find a replacement and could not. I ordered from here and it came on time. The stickiness of the mirror was EFFECTIVE AND HASNT MOVED. It fit right on my mirror.

NOTE: This in not meant to be installed on a 2016 Impala but... it worked fine in my application. Here's the deal: The internal components of the review mirror was redesigned in 2016. As such a true 2016 replacement glass will have a plastic mounting ring permanently mounted on the back side of the glass. The ring has four plastic tabs that are meant to click into a mount on the motor assembly inside the mirror housing. So... if your mirror glass is missing or completely busted out (i.e. no mirror) then this replacement glass will not work.In my case the mirror on my 2016 Impala was only cracked. Although it was cracked in 3 places it was still functional. I used the double sided tape that comes with this mirror and simply stuck it right over the top of the cracked factory mirror. To be on the safe side I applied the tape so it overlapped the cracks. Anyway, once installed you can't even tell its been fixed. Because the mirror glass sits back inside the housing you can't see the edges or tell there are two mirrors one on top the other. My passenger mirror now looks just like it did when it came from the factory! Just be sure to clean your cracked mirror with alcohol so the doubled sided tape will stick and try not to touch the adhesive on the tape when applying it.

This fit our car perfectly. Even though our mirror was only cracked and this could technically be installed on top of it, we chose to carefully remove the old one and install this as a fresh application. The adhesive on the back side was more than adequate, and this went on easily and has stayed in place for multiple months now. This was the best value on this site at the time we purchased it, and if we were looking again, we'd go with this one in a heartbeat. Great value.

Its not a bad mirror replacement, especially for the price but this mirror says it will fit a 2006-2011 Chevrolet Impala. Yet when i received it and tried to put on my 2008 Chevrolet Impala, the mirror was way too small for the actual size so be wary.

My grandson bought a car with a broken mirror. I went to my Amazon and found a replacement. My husband removed the broken mirror, put this replacement in and now it looks better and my grandson is driving safer!!

Maybe mine was returned and resold, but I didn't get any adhesive so I had to use my own. Same shape and look as original, works well. Next time I won't park beside a BMW :/
