National Hardware N198-143 V1970 Pull in Solid Brass,4 Inch - 1/2 Inch

These are straight up legit. Don't pay 3 times as much somewhere else. They're solid brass. Heavy and beautiful. And they look very nice on my 100 year old wood sash windows. The screws that come with them are brass too. Cheapest you will ever find for this quality level.

Evidently I must have misread the description. This handle is entirely too small for my use.It’s obviously more of a decoration than a functional handle.

Makes a secure handle for a window sash. Classic look for our older home.

This replaced a soft metal 4.5inch pull handle that was placed on the 1 inch frame of an 8 ft, sliding glass door for a better grip currently offered by inset finger grip. It will help the inset insert side of the door that requires our fingers to grab and slide. Could not find a replacement double sided handle slider grip handle that had 6.5 inch screw distance ( most are 3-4 inch) plus after removing the 4 inch soft metal pull handle the unpleasant screw holes would have been exposed. New SOLID BRASS pull is really holding it’s on. Screwed in tight and center of gravity helps slide. Added pictures before and after. I think this is going to work.

I have the identical style of handle but in polished nickel for kitchen pulls but those I purchased from Restoration Hardware at a much higher price. I would say the quality is identical. This handle I purchased to use on my kids' playhouse door as it is much cuter than the one that came with the playhouse.

Once again we are the victims of larger forces. I have always thought well of National's "Gallery" line of solid brass hardware which sold at fair prices. Stanley now owns National as well as sadly, Baldwin. Out of the dozen pulls in my order from Amazon, about half were of a new, lesser quality manufacture while being in the same packaging.One change is hollowing out the back of the pull to save brass which reduces the previously solid feel. The color was also slightly different suggesting a change in the finish(quality). Going downhill like so much, but still an O.K. product.These make a nice, simple and attractive drawer pull.

Beautiful, solid brass handle, smooth to the touch, no seams, and lovely to look at. I am using it on the staircase in the basement, big enough for hands to grab to assist one up the stairs. I needed something rust proof and this handle is it.
