I moved across the continent and wanted to bring my bed. I ordered two of these (my frame doesn't come apart) and stacked the mattress and frame on top of my truck within them. My experience with using them to move:-The mattress, which did not get any wear from wind (and was wrapped with an additional mattress bag) arrived in perfect condition. I would not risk putting the mattress in without additional protection.-The frame, which got a LOT of wear from the wind, needed to be wrapped with another tarp on hour 25 of the drive (around mile 1600). There were small holes from being worn down by the wind. I was doing 75~ and was definitely not driving with the mattress bag in mind.-The zipping aspect of this purchase was useful because I was able to store some clothes in a vacuum bag within the frame's bag.Downside was that these bags are thin and will not survive more than a day or two against the wind. If you're expecting a lot of wear and rain, you NEED to wrap this bag in a heavy duty tarp.Overall, I found this purchase to be a useful PART of preparing for a big trip. I wouldn't rely on it alone, but when used with heavy duty tarp, it provided good protection and extra storage space for my trip.

I have moved four times in the past five years and tried every method of wrapping a mattress for a move. It is possible to cling wrap a mattress, you can purchase large mattress sized plastic bag, or you can try a product like this. Unfortunately for me, I only purchased this product on my final move, otherwise I would have saved a lot of money.The reality is that you will inevitably tear both cling wrap and mattress plastic bags. Even more rugged plastic bags seemingly always catch something that rips them wide open. This leaves your mattress either exposed to the elements or at least momentarily dirty. This mattress cover is incredibly strong and sturdy enough to carry the mattress and set down on any surface. The handles work great for handholds while moving. Finally, it's easy to flatten out and store away when you finished using it. Buy.

This bag is pretty good. For the price point, I would expect more handles in additional places, especially on the king. Because the bag is bigger than a typical king mattress, it sags when you carry it by the handles, so you really need another place to grab it for support to avoid just grabbing the bag and potentially tearing it. This is particularly true when carrying up or down stairs to maneuver or whenever your loading isn't a straight shot. However, I will say when we first bought this brand for a move 5 years ago in a queen it was basically the only quality option of maybe 2-3 on Amazon. Even though there are plenty of options now (and at lower price points) we've stuck with this brand for new ones through two additional moves and own them in king, full, and twin. They seem to hold up well over time and keep the mattresses clean in storage for several weeks, though I do worry about how this kind one would be for another move do to the stress on the handles from the way you have to carry it because of how they are positioned... pretty sure it tore in one or two places. Somewhat expensive for a one time purchase (and wasteful) if the product doesn't end up being reusable. So maybe, 4.25 stars for the brand (because they all need handles) and 3.5 stars for the king.

This was amazing for moving between apartments. The handles on the side make moving this feel like a professional job. The bag is sturdy in the event you drag or drop the mattress. It was such a hit I had multiple friends ask to borrow it.One thing I did to save time during my move was make my bed and then zip it inside. This way when I arrived at the new destination I just had to put down the bedframe and unzip and place my bed onto it.Highly recommend!

Used this for my large memory foam king size mattress before moving it into storage. The movers complimented the quality and durability of the mattress bag while moving it downstairs. They said they do not see very many good quality bags, but this is a good one! Would purchase again or recommend to a friend.

This is perfect for moving & storing your mattress! Has handles so carrying it out was way easier & it is weather proof so will leave it in this bag until we are ready to put it in our sons room when he’s old enough!
