If you are a fan of the movie, then this is a must have. Typical with Hallmark Ornaments, the quality is great and the movie clip played is easy to hear and clear. The detail on the ornament is excellent and the expression on Clark's face is priceless. It comes with batteries as well so good to go as soon as it arrives. It has flat bottom so it can stand alone or there is a loop in the back of Clark's head for hanging on the tree. Can't wait to add this to the collection.

No batteries in the box! I gave it as a gift and the batteries weren’t in the box. :( Complete let down.

We've been collecting the Christmas Vacation ornaments for a few years now, and can recommend this one. It works as advertised and has the actual dialogue with the original actors from the movie, as do all but one of those we purchased. We purchased a "moose mug" ornament a couple of years ago that has the dialogue, but not the original actors' voices. Overall, though, very pleased with the collection.

I love the latest addition to the National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation Ornament series--"Meow!" The ornament is well-constructed and beautifully painted. It arrived in great condition and as scheduled. It is a fun addition to my other Christmas Vacation ornaments. The movie is a family favorite, and the ornament depicts a priceless moment in the movie! A must-have for any "Christmas Vacation" fan!

Great ornament, but with small kids, I had to hide it on the tree so they wouldn't play it since it has a bad word in the recording...I didn't need them repeating that!

My Boxer thought it was a chew toy so glad I could find a replacement

So it's good quality but my complaint is it plays a 60 second(give or take) clip from when they realize the cat is in the box, I don't know why but I feel it would be better if it just played the cat in the box noise, you know, when he shakes it. Since it's Clark holding the box like he's shaking it.

After some tinkering I got the ornament to work. It’s been great ever since.
