Recipe box easy to set up and use.

This recipe box is very pretty. I redid my kitchen and wanted to change out some of the things on the counter to match the new style. My old recipe box was almost 20 years old and was very loud - yellow and green - to match the kitchen in our first house - 4 houses ago.The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's just a wee bit wobbly. It's not terrible and doesn't cause any issues, the metal just isn't as heavy as I would have expected )it seems a little top heavy when empty).Otherwise, this is the best recipe box I have ever seen. It looks beautiful, but is very functional as well. Its lid has a crevice designed to hold the recipe card when you are cooking to keep you hands free, and it even came with a hard plastic card cover that fits perfectly in the lid crevice so your recipe card doesn't get filthy while you're cooking. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend it if you're looking for a new recipe card holder that is not only nice to look at, but also functional.

I like the design of the box and love that it will display a recipe card on top. Only negative is that I had hoped the top would have a seal with the container but that is not a huge problem

The price was high and the product appears cheap

The reason I picked this recipe box, is becauseI like to use postcards to write small recipes on, and I needed a box that was big enough for postcards. It is absolutely perfect for that application. But I was a little disappointed in the craftsmanship. It’s cute. Lightweight. Has the ridge on the lid to hold your recipe card which is convenient. But I had to use a piece of tape on the exterior edge to make sure I didn’t get cut on an unfinished edge on the outside seam.

Five stars for the actual recipe tin, two stars for the ridiculously high price compared to so many similar items. Still, this was the one I kept coming back to for the slotted wooden lid and textured metal box so….. I bought it and plan to use it forever. Just really think it should be $10 less!!!
