My granddaughter is a budding artist. She wanted a book to help drawing people, this is the book. Easy to read and diagrams are great. Ideal for any artist.

It’s a good book with nice illustrations. My 11-year-old really struggled to follow the illustrations and create anything she felt good about. She watches drawing tutorials online and has several art kits with amazing supplies, and creates cool work, but this method/guide just didn’t work for her. It required too many steps and erasing guidelines was complicated for her. Maybe better for older or more serious artists.

Great book for teaching drawing to children. I have been looking for ways to stretch the creativity of my budding artist granddaughter, age 10, and this is perfect. The book is divided into activities that illustrate how to draw a particular part of the face, how to add details such as hair style, how to draw profiles, selfies and group portraits. One activity is devoted to famous portraits, helping children make connections between art and history. This book is highly recommended.

My kids have enjoyed learning to draw from this book. A step by step guide to portrait drawing as described. Fun for all ages.

Bought this for my 7-year-old daughter that loves drawing/sketching. She loves it and uses it daily. I can really see her improving her skills and easily follow the instructions in the book even though our mother tongue is not English.
