First of all I live and eat in a large bathroom. But I needed a place to sit down and eat. This table is great quality, sturdy, relatively easy to put together (someone else did it for me), and the perfect size for dining for one plus a kitty!

I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of this little table. The chair cushions aren’t the most comfortable but I can deal with it. It was also surprisingly easy to put together! Love how this looks in my home.

I bought this table set for my very small 420 sqft apartment, and it fits perfectly in the dining room! The materials of the table are wood, and are well put together. The chairs are what require the most assembly, and the directions were a bit confusing at first. The ends of the table fold down easily through bars that are under the table, and stay up with no issue or weird gaps/unevenness. The table is very easy to clean and comes with instructions on the care of the product as well. I purchased the dark cappuccino table and the colors of the wood and upholstery for the chairs are beautiful together. Overall the product looks like it is of good quality and expensive!Cons:The table is VERY heavy.The ties that are stapled under the table to hold the pieces together before you assemble them were difficult for me to remove (pieces are still stuck to the bottom, but not visible).The chairs are SO uncomfortable if you sit on them for longer than the time you would just spend eating (sometimes I have done my homework at the dining table instead of my desk).

This table is amazing. I am a 72 year old Widow with a hip problem. I ASSEMBLED the table and chair myself, ALL by myself. Was it difficult? Not really. It took me 4 hours from start to finish. I think that is a great record! I assembled the chairs first. That was a little tricky until I figured out how to hold everything up with my easy chair and pillows. I "thought" I was short 2 crucial bolts and lock things. But I didn't worry about it at the time cause I needed to assemble the table. Low and behold the hardware was there, just loose in the box! Thank goodness. The table was easy to assemble, maybe that's why instructions sorta suggested the table first. Anyway, one of the hardest things to figure out was the removal of black straps that were securely stabled to the underneath part of the table. Once I figured it out, it's easy. Get a pair of vice grips if you have them, otherwise a pair of pliers will do nicely, that's what I used. Vice grips might have made it easier. Anyway, grip both straps with the pliers and start twisting around and around. Eventually the staple will come out. One staple broke but I was able to gently tap the end into the underneath of the table. The table is very secure, doesn't shake. The chairs are also stable, however the chairs are a little short, even for me. I hope to find the things you put on the bottom of chairs to make them scoot easier, thus raising the chair at least 1/2". All in all, for the price, I love this table! So far NO Complaints on the quality. The packing was fantastic, well padded. Not marks, scratches, no dents, only nice looking wood. Oh, I figured out why the chairs appear to be short. You can have the leaf down and eat without the leaf being in your way. I love it! By the way, the chair seat is approx 18" from the floor to the top of the seat.

Easy to assemble, though the instructions are a little confusing at times. Sturdy and looks great in my small kitchen.

The package arrived on time, all pieces arrived intact and it was simple to put together. The set is as comfortable as noted in other reviews, fine for the span of a meal but do not plan on using this to work at unless you are 5' 7" or less. I cannot rate the overall quality of the product higher than three stars due to the finish issues. The surface is not smooth due to a number of significant pieces of material lodged in the final finish coat which included the tag attached to one of the legs requiring me to free it with a moist sponge. The material on the top surface cannot be sanded or chipped off without creating an visible impact to the finish. I am not returning as I do not wish to go through the hassle of the return process only to receive the same issues in a replacement.

Edit 5/6/22:7 years later and we still have this table. It has been through many moves and still going strong! We did end up changing out the chairs after 4 years. The chairs were not very comfortable in the long run, and they were also not very sturdy - the wooden pegs that add support underneath the seat kept falling out.Every now and then I notice the table leaves start to droop very slightly and I have to pull on the little support rods underneath to level it back out; they somehow start to push inward with normal use. Only very slightly though. No one else in the house even notices it but me, and we've never had any incidents. After all this time, our table does have signs of wear and tear and scratches etc. but you can only see it if you look up close. I still love this little table.-----------------Original review 2015:I am SO HAPPY I bought this table. It looks expensive even though it's not. I got the dark wood color and it looks so elegant. It is also very sturdy and I love that I can change the shape depending on where I put it. It has already been in several different spots of my house. The only negative thing I can say is that the pegs on the underside of the chairs sometimes fall out randomly. I just push them back in.

Delightful little set- just right for a small space.

Was surprised at the quality of this table and chairs set for it's price. Was not expecting what came, in a good way!
