This is a both a Great art project, and a Wonderful decoration for Christmas. I don't have access to a kiln, which is an oven for: Firing, or Baking, ceramic items, like this Christmas tree. Instead, I used Acrylic paints on this Christmas tree. I painted the Tree a "Forest Green", and the Base was painted "Black". A coat of Mod Podge made everything shine, and look just like a ceramic glaze. Finally, I decided that the small, soft white, bulb wasn't giving off enough light to make the finished Christmas tree look well "Lighted Up". And so, I replaced the bulb, that came with the kit, with an LED bulb that gives off much more light. The finished Christmas tree looks fine. An excellent value, and a great project too!

We bought this as a craft item for my mother in law. She enjoyed painting it with my wife.

What a wonderful product! My mom had a ceramic Christmas tree when I was growing up, and I have so many fond memories of it. Painting this tree was very relaxing, and now I have a beautiful decoration with my own personal stamp on it. Well worth the money!

I had one years ago and it was accidentally misplaced and shipped to another town. Unfortunately I could not get it back. My son told me about these on Amazon, so after looking over the stock this was the one I wanted so badly. It is perfect and ready for paint. I am so happy to have it.Happy Customer

Very nice. Well-packed and easy to paint. I drew some holly leaves on the base and painted those too for a little difference. My niece loved her gift!
