Some of the pre drilled holes needed to be drilled out to work. Fit on the studs perfectly, everyone in the house uses it and loves it. Kids, adults and grandparents. Very useful.

Installation was easy enough had to get my own screws for wood no big issue less then $2 at big box store.Looks nice only issue having the railing came off at first I thought I was just bolts were lose I grab my drill to fix it but discover the screw get held under pressure by this metal bushing took it off tried pushing it in with hammer but not working out keeps popping out..Looks and feels heavy duty but has major weak spot

I liked how sturdy this product was, how secure my mom feels when going down the steps. The only thing it is a heavy piece, be mindful if your wall can support. No complaints worth it!

Very nice railing, well made. The arms screw on to the bottom, but the mounts are curved (for a round railing) so we had to flatten them in a vice in order for them to screw securely. The included mounting bolts are intended for concrete but we used them in siding and they worked great. Very sturdy. Great price, fast shipping. We ordered a second for the back porch

I installed 3 of these rails on my stairs. They are easy to install, but needed an additional help to hold them because they are heavy. The only complaint I may have is that they didn't come with drywall screws, good thing I had a stash of my own and was able to install without going to buy them. Otherwise Super happy with my purchase.

Positives: Handrail part is very solid and has a nice design. Also, received it in a few days.Negatives: Handrail looked used and had scuff marks (out of the box) that I had to polish out. Also, was only sent 2 very thin metal elbow brackets with the 2 holes (1.75in space) that did not even matched up to the pre drill holes (1.25in space) under the handrail. (There are 3 sets of 2 holes for this 3 step handrail underneath it)...So I went to Home Depot and found 3 very sturdy solid elbow brackets that would help hold this this heavy handrail, but still needed to drill out new holes under the handrail to make it fit.Liked the the handrail part and needed to get something up quickly for my elderly mother-in-law (for safety reasons) or I would've return this item.

Rail is very sturdy and well made; commercial duty, really. The finish is thick and seems very well applied. Might be powder-coated. The attachment points are heavy gauge metal disks each with three screw holes. When attached to studs, it is very strong.

Received this item today to find its already been used only one bracket in the box when two is needed and poor quality.
