If you depend on the actual measurement of a fat quarter for your project you will be disappointed. This fabric is 17x21 and should be 18x21 to be a fat quarter. I cut my napkins at 18x18 which gives me a 16x16 napkin. I had to make a smaller pattern in a cut size of 16x16 which makes a 14x14 napkin. The fabric is adorable and a nice weight. Stop short changing us. I notice this with olive oil too. When I weighed the oil in a 25 oz bottle it is 23.49. Ugh.
