Wonderful Cookie Press, with an update on the metal plates
I have been making cookies with a press for over 40 years. The quality of this is great. It won't split at the joins or lid like the plastic Wilton one did. Much easier than the old metal version. Lots of interesting designs.Just a reminder though, you still have to completely clean the ring/lid when changing metal plates. Any dough in the threads of the lid will keep the plate from seating properly and make the cookies uneven as they come out of the press. It will take a while to figure out what is the correct amount of pressure, but that's is always the case with new things.Dec 31, 2020 Decided to try cheese straws. My dough was stiff and even as it warmed up, it was not going through the press easily. We decided to change the disc/plate and found that the one we were using (star) had actually warped from flat to convex. The discs are not sturdy enough for this task. All three discs we used had warped. We did turn them over to try to flatten them out, but they just warped in the other direction.Oh Well. Still wonderful for cookies

Didn't make one use. Don't donate your money!
The pin that pushes the piston bent after 3 soft butter cookies! I took it to the shop, pressed the pin out, fixed the pin and tried again but the metal is so soft it bent again almost immediately. It's not even like there was a defect on this cookie press, there is just no way this thing can work, it's garbage.

Not user friendly!
This is the worst cookie press I ever had. I though because it's supposedly all metal it would be more durable. Couldn't get it to work and no instructions that made sense. Impractical, hurt my hand trying to get it to work, and it never did. I'm returning it. The discs bent too. Very very dissatisfied with this product. 😥

terrible!
Amazon should stop selling this. It's terrible. It broke the first time we used it. Returning it for a better one. So disappointed because I shipped it to my parents as a surprise. They were so excited and then it broke.

Broken on the first use!!
This came with instructions that were nothing more than pictures. The spring broke before I got 2 cookies onto the cookie sheet. I had to roll out & cut out the cookies the old fashioned way. I was extremely disappointed.

Don't Like it
The stainless steel design is nice, but this thing is not user friendly. The switch at the top keeps getting stuck, and no matter what I set it at, the cookies come out too thick. Overall, not impressed.

Broke without making a single cookie
Didn’t make a single cookie. Broke as I was trying to make the first one. The pump would lower to the level of the dough and refuse to move. The pump went up and down fine without dough in the chamber but wouldn’t move even with only one cookie’s worth of warm dough. Absolutely useless.

We just love this cookie press gun
My toddler and I had a blast making these cookies, it was super easy and we were so impressed. It also comes apart for quick cleaning. I’m so happy with this purchase.
