It really is as awesome as they say
ETA: we got our second cage and it came in half the time the first one did! I was so surprised when it showed up. Again, no bar bends except I accidentally bent a side door when taking out one piece (it was hooked on to it and I wasn't paying attention) but my husband easily bent it back into place and we also ended up using it as the bird box access door anyway. We assembled the second cage in probably ten minutes after opening the box and finding the pieces, it's that easy.I want to say that I freaking love the wire shelves and ladders, a couple of my fids would be a natural disaster if they were released into the wild, as they'd probably chew down a forest 😂. They're not making any progress on the wire at all, and now I can just get them nice chew toys instead of wasting time cutting new perches. When we stacked the second cage I realized that a part of the bottom helps hold the slide partition up. We solved this by using zip ties to hold into place, along with the rest of the cage to the bottom to prevent any 2yo climbing accidents. Also the top feels a bit wobbly and unstable without the base so you'll definitely need help getting it on top of the other if you choose to do what we did.I love the space under it. I love how easy the wiring is to clean. I used to pressure wash my other cages but whatever this wiring is coated in makes it really easy to just wipe or rinse. I love having all the doors open and all the birds can congregate wherever they'd like to hang out. We have found that it has increased their social interaction since it reduces their territorial reactions somehow. They will all be in each other's cages eating the others foods, taking baths in their bathing bowls, nibbling on their toys. This even includes the parakeets with the "meaner less social" black caps. It's not pictured but we also got a very tall ladder from a popular pet store for the ones who are clipped to be able to get back up until their wings grow back out. Also, learned that wicker baskets are a fid fav😂, expensive lesson but will go to the goodwill to find some cheap in the future.Helpful advice: get a crappy old oven pan to collect all the dishes/baths so you only have to make one trip to refill and clean, and you spill way less! Also a trusty step ladder that is easy to clean birdies droppings off of and won't pinch the fingers to tuck to the side is a must. I need to get a new one, mine both pinches and is hard to clean!!Beware if you stack your cages, you won't be able to wheel it around any more because of the height. We have a really tall opening into the room we have this and it is taller than that. I can still move it in the room without any concern of it capsizing. All in all, I give it 10/5 stars for the cost, quality, convenience, aesthetic appeal, cleanliness, clutter reduction, and bird happiness. All worth a little frustration putting the first one together!_----------_Original review:I really can't say enough good about this cage. I'm kinda meh about cages and really didn't think I'd be excited about it, because well, it's a cage right? We let our fids (feathered kids) roam free most of the time, so the larger cage was more for reducing the clutter and eye sore of separate caging. But I found myself very excited about the space and quality of this cage!First off, we didn't have any bar bending like others have indicated. Also the directions are useless, but the fella who was so kind to provide insight on assembly was spot on. He didn't use the base and we tried to assemble the base first, bad mistake. The top and base didn't come separated in the boxes for us, they were packed mixed together. However it was very easy to pick out the top pieces on his description other than the difference of the bottom of the cage vs the base, but that was obvious once we saw all the pieces to the cage had three horizontal bars running across them, the base only has two.So, do the top first, then the bottom. And the extra twist ties that hold the pieces in the box are brilliant for holding the top pieces in place while you screw them together. The odd little two holed 2" wide pieces are meant to help hold in the divider, and it's easiest to bolt them in before you put the top on the base, with the flat head inside and the bolt outside.Easy to clean. Tons of feeder bowls (a few of ours got crushed in shipment but not a big deal). We like it so much I'm ordering a second one and we plan on using zip ties to stack the cages. We house chewy conures in ours, no issues.

Sturdy, attractive, could use a few extra bits and some instructions.
Just set it up tonight and am pretty much loving it. Sturdy, huge, nice color, arrived in good condition, has spring-loaded main doors (I'll be wiring the gravity doors shut so idle beaks don't push them open and I like that I won't need a lock for the front.) I really, really wanted to give it five stars. I didn't for two reasons:First, it didn't come with any assembly instructions whatsoever. I'm mechanically inclined and I had another mechanically inclined person there, so we still had it up in about an hour, hour-and-a-half, but if you're not, this is going to be a challenge. We had to use some of the pictures other people had provided (thank you!) to check against and make sure we were doing it right. Somebody else posted a lovely set of assembly tips and tricks, but unfortunately they didn't all apply to the particular cage we got--some of the pictured cages look slightly different and I think are of a different, very similar model.Secondly, I got it to use as a single cage. I really would have liked to see a divider like the one provided, but with no mesh, also included so I could have that gap filled a bit better--I could snip out the mesh on the included divider but it won't all be powder-coated and I don't know what metal is involved. Also, there are only three brackets to hold the cages together in the middle--there should be four if you want to be able to slide the divider in and out and six if you don't. I'll need to use zip ties to secure the other holes (just so the little dude doesn't catch a toe in the holes.)It really is nice, though, even with all that.

Great cage
In ten words: Great cage. Big. Cheap. Fairly easy to assemble. Looks good.Like other reviewers have mentioned, the instructions that come with the cage are almost non-existent and practically useless. Nonetheless, I found assembling the cage itself to be fairly straightforward. Several things to watch out for:1. For the front and side pieces, the thicker bars running horizontally across the middle of the pieces should protrude into the cage. That is, the grill should be flush with the middle horizontal bar on the outside of the cage.2. For the back pieces, the same bars should protrude out of the cage. So for the back pieces, the grill should be flush with the thicker bar on the inside of the cage. This is important. It's the opposite of what is found on the pieces mentioned in point 1 and potentially confusing.3. The front pieces are not identical. Looking at the pieces from the front (where the latch operates), the one with three holes drilled along the right-hand side of the frame goes on the right. The other one goes on the left.4. The back pieces are not identical. They both have three holes drilled into the left and three holes drilled into the right-hand sides of their frames, but look carefully at the two holes in the middle (on the left and on the right). One of the two middle holes will have something in it, and it won't look quite like the other holes. The side with these special holes should be near the center of the cage.5. The two side pieces are identical. The two top pieces are also identical.6. The bottom pieces just slide in (they have handles), but require the two bottom rack pieces (they kind of look like the bottom part of the side pieces and may look like they're supposed to be part of the stand, but they're not).7. One of the spacers/connector plates goes in the back/middle of the cage where the special holes are. The 1 cm long screws work well for attaching the connectors. The other two plates go in the middle on top; one in front and one in back.8. Typical assembly tips apply. I put the screws in somewhat loosely until everything was put together and then tightened everything. It's likely much more difficult to get everything to fit together otherwise.Assembling the cage also did require a little bit of sorting. All the necessary screws, nuts, washers, and tools are mixed together in a little bag, so I had to sort out the seven 1 cm long screws, forty-one 2 cm long screws, thirteen 3 cm long screws, five 6 cm long screws, five nuts, five washers, three spacers, one 2 mm Allen key, and one mini wrench. The cage itself seems to only require the 2 cm long screws, the 1 cm long screws, and the three connectors/spacers. It also seems to come with way more screws than necessary, but it's nice to have more in case you lose one. Then, there were the two front pieces (wide, with door), two back pieces (wide, without door), two side pieces (narrow, with extra frame with three rectangles on the bottom, just like the front and back pieces), two top pieces (narrow, look like the bottom pieces, but have holes and don't have a handle), two middle rack pieces (small), two bottom pieces (narrow, with handle), two plastic trays (they're plastic trays), and one center divider (narrow, with a handle). Figuring those out took a little bit of sorting, but still pretty straightforward.I have nothing to say about the stand because my use case does not require a stand. The cage also comes in two relatively flat boxes. The boxes are pretty unwieldy due to the size and weight of the cage, so it's nice that it comes in separate boxes. The accessories are okay. Some of the sticks/dowels were damaged or were too long to fit well, and the locations for the eight included food/water dishes aren't ideal. I'd recommend getting separate dishes that screw into the bars. The flat platform perches came kind of rounded, possibly due to how they were packed (same with the ladders), but they fit okay, if a bit loosely. My bird doesn't seem to mind that they're deformed and is willing to use them.
