Worth the Price
This is a quality lamp from top to bottom—solidly-built, simple yet elegant form that delivers on appearance from afar and close-up, with intricate styling details in the base, to the bulb fixture and pull chains, and of course the shade. It’s an eye-catching statement piece with bulbs on or off, and performs as it should to provide essential lighting. It is a bit amusing when I come across a poor review posted by someone feeling scammed when they find the lamp is not made of individual cut glass pieces, joined together by metal solder, and supported by a bronze metal base like the original Tiffany lamps, or quality reproductions. This lamp and similar ones available by the dozen are Tiffany “style,” and should be advertised as such. Original Tiffany lamps or reproductions can set you back many hundreds to thousands of dollars, and most Tiffany-style lamps sold today are not the design of Louis Comfort Tiffany and Company manufactured many decades ago. Yet due to increased labor and manufacturing steps, better materials used, and perhaps high demand—they do cost more than run-of-the-mill lamps. For us the quality, appearance, and function of this lamp justifies the price point. As with other Quoizel lamps we’ve purchased, it was smartly packaged to prevent damage. The lamp shade and base come with a very light film of oil to further minimize damage, e.g., scratches or abrasions (as explained in the booklet). However, the surfaces appear very durable and resistant, and all parts were fully encased within Styrofoam and plastic. A light oil sheen does enhance the lamp’s appearance. There is not much to put together, so other than wiping it down with soft, dry rag, it will be up and ready in no time. The lamp uses 2 regular, medium-base bulbs. You only have to decide which type (LED, compact fluorescent, incandescent), wattage, color temperature (2200K, 2700K, 3000K, etc.), shape, and clear or frosted. Good luck with that. Understand that shades designed for generous light passage through them are often a bit brighter closer to where each bulb is located. Most will not find this an issue. Otherwise, using lower wattage bulbs and/or frosted bulbs can lessen the effect. Note also that my attached photos were taken during daylight, and both the illumination and beautiful color effects through the shade are more prominent at night. The assembled lamp stands about 24 inches high, and the shade is just as wide diagonally. Although not excessive, these dimensions are a bit taller and wider than most lamps we’ve had over the years, so you may want to check the size of your existing lamps for comparison purposes, and the table and location you have planned for it.

Plastic not glass; badly aimed bulbs
The lamp shade is heavy plastic, not glass as stated. At least it's a good imitation and much lighter weight than glass. However, the faux "lead" between the panes varies in width and shows skips, because it's just rubbery caulk, unevenly applied. Regarding installation, the top chain link has to be pried open to hook into the ceiling eyelet and was impossible for us to bend all the way closed, even with two pairs of pliers. We marred the finish on that link, despite wrapping tape around the jaws of the pliers. The three-bulb pull-chain cluster lets you use one, two, or all three bulbs. However, and most disappointingly, it aims the bulbs downward at about a 45-degree angle, right into our eyes. We installed the fixture with the lower edge of the shade just 25" above our dining table. We now figure we would need to lower it another 10" in order to escape the glare (except that we don't have that much wire left); and having the lamp placed just 15" above the table would block our view of one another, besides placing the plastic shade in range of candle flames. Quoizel should have used a spiral-arm cluster to place the bulbs horizontally and higher in the shade. We may try to retrofit such a cluster, but that will cost us another $50 - $75 for a fixture that already cost us $216. Very frustrating.

Perfect! Beautiful and well made. Pricey but worth it!!
I was hesitant to spend this much on a lamp but am glad I did. I’ve purchased less expensive stained glass lamps and ended up returning them because the quality was very poor and they weren’t as attractive as pictured. Not so with this lamp! It’s just as beautiful in person and it’s of good quality for a reproduction Tiffany.Very happy with this purchase. :)

This light is not made from glass
While the description of this light fixture states that it is made from art “glass” we would disagree. Our light is plastic and the “solder” that the pieces were connected together with is not the traditional product used in the construction of art glass items and as a result we think this item is overpriced. We would not buy this product again.

Beautiful lamp
When the lamp is illuminated, there are so many more nuances of color in the panes than the picture indicates. Assembly was straightforward. I would recommend wiping the shade with glass cleaner before assembling it -- there's an oily residue that has a petroleum-like odor that's on the shade. There's a faint oily smell at first but now I don't smell it anymore. The level of light isn't really that bright -- bright enough to do some bedside reading (which is why I bought a pair of them to put on our night stands) but it doesn't really light up a room. With both lamps on in our master bedroom, it's a soft romantic glow but not too bright. But I only have 2 60W bulbs in there and it's regulated to have up to 2 75W bulbs. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase and they are really beautiful lamps that I will enjoy for many years.

Beautiful fixture, real glass, small sockets -2013 update
It really does look as nice as the photo and it is made of real stained glass pieces. Seems sturdy and well-made, and is packed securely in a thick formed styrofoam shell with foam rubber cushioning. In fact there were two serious gouges from shipping in the cardboard box that didn't make it anywhere near the glass. But there is one thing to be aware of, if you want to use compact fluorescent lamps, the sockets are the smaller christmas type, not standard light bulb size. They will take bulbs up to 60 watts, so it should be pretty bright, but you won't be able to save energy until somebody comes out with energy saving lamps that fit the smaller sockets. Hopefully someday soon 120V LED array lights will be available in small sockets.2013 UPDATE: Well, now, as you probably know, both CFC and LED lamps are available that fit the small sockets, so that is a non-issue.
