Well-made adjustable mounts enable optimum placement of portable solar panels for RV camping
I bought two of these sets for two 100 watt portable solar panels to keep our RV batteries charged during off-the-grid camping. I like the fact that the rails can be left attached to the solar panels for storage, leaving only the tilt adjustment brackets to attach for setup. I can quickly set the panels up near my trailer in a sunny spot and angle them toward the sun for higher power. Since these brackets attach with knurled knobs and wingnuts, setup is really quick and no tools are needed. The rails and adjustment brackets are very well made and very light, but also very sturdy. I wished they were a little cheaper, since I needed two sets, but I decided to go with these instead of making my own, and I'm glad I did.

(LINK SOLAR) SOLAR PANEL TILT MOUNTING BRACKETS
First off, I always read reviews before I make a purchase, however, I do not write reviews. With that said, the reviews on this solar panel brackets were great overall and even though the price was $15 more than Renogy’s brackets — the maker of my solar panels, I did not like that their brackets were oversized for the panel and this one measured smaller which would provide a “low profile” mounting and that was exactly what I wanted! There was one review I read prior to purchase who stated, overpriced for aluminum and wing nuts — I figured that’s just a man being overly opinionated.UPS arrived with my order and when I received the box from the driver, I was surprised, it’s weight was almost like air and immediately I thought of the “overpriced” review.Today I installed the brackets onto my panel. Please tell “Melon” — the contact name on the instructions sheet, the installation instructions provided are a headache! As simple as it is to actually install the brackets to the panel, trying to make sense of the written direction took 3 times as long! I basically just kept looking at the picture (which also needs to be tweaked) to figure out where to put two different sets of nuts and bolts because, that’s all it is.Also, the diagram showing the connector cables in back of panel the panel is turned side ways which made it confusing because it made me believe the brackets needed to be placed the long way (counter to what I wanted) but the holes did not line up that way because the brackets are supposed to rail along the height as opposed to the width.Anyhow I figured it out although I have not mounted it on the side of my office building yet.I actually needed a total of 5 sets of brackets but I only ordered 1 set to see how it would appear and work out.As far as it being “heavy duty”, I cannot attest to that as the aluminum is very light weight.I do feel as the other reviewer did, that it is overpriced for aluminum and wing nuts and I likely will purchase the other four from Renogy. This is a mounting bracket and it does not have extra metal overhang visibility so that is a plus since the Renogy brackets are 28” (I believe) vs this one which is 22” if I am not mistaken, however, just to be certain gas far as appearance, I will first only purchase one Renogy bracket and see how it looks. If there is too much metal overhanging, I will likely end up buying 4 more of these “overpriced” brackets but if the overhang is tolerable, I will place this one on the back of the building and the other four on the side so that there will be uniformity.Do I recommend NOT buying this product? NOIt does what is purports to doDo I recommend they blow up the photo on the instructions, erased the directions and replace with:1) screw little (module) bolt through panel, into rail at the top2) screw little (module) bolt through panel, into rail at the bottomConnect second rail to form an “A”3) screw twist bolt in slot A4) screw twist bolt in slot B5) screw twist bolt in slot CRepeat On Opposite SideYES !!
