Purchased 1.5 years ago. Here’s what I’ve noticed:CON:The plush softness of it goes away within 1 month, it completely flattens down.It is very thin, akin to a $10 Costco runner rug.The wrinkles do flatten out after about a month, but if you get a wrinkle in it again it takes at least a month to flatten again! And it’s very prone to wrinkles.The edges curl very easily, and once they’re curled it takes a couples weeks of pressure to uncurl them, but then they pop right back up shortly thereafter.There’s is zero grip on the back, it slides all over hardwood floors.PRO:For the price, it’s a good buy to warm up a room, or soften a hard wood floor space.I purchased this for $100, at that price I feel fine with having it last about 2 years or so. (In a high traffic area). I look at it as disposable.It cleans very easily, since it is so thin. I can scrub just about anything out of it (and have): strawberry, chocolate, cat throw up (TMI, but, it’s true).The patterns are very nice and look great in a room! (I have since purchased another).OVERALL:If you’re looking for a rug in a low traffic area that makes the room look nice, this would be ideal.If you need a quality, soft, comfortable rug in a high traffic area, this one will leave you disappointed.If you just want a pretty rug to put in a high traffic area where young kids and animals are going to be (and thereby destroy all the things) and you don’t want to spend a ton of money or fuss over something expensive getting ruined... this is the rug!

Good runner for the price.

I bought a large gray and cream area rug for the living room. It's soft and the colors are as shown in the pictures. It does require a pad. If you desire lots of cushion, use a thicker pad. This rug is made from synthetic materials which make it easy to clean, but also does not easily release the wrinkles caused by rolling it for shipment. We had the luxury of being able to place the pad on top of the rug for a few days. This did help some. Also you can reroll the rug in the opposite direction for a day or so before you place it. It's a good rug for the money. I recommend it.

I love love love this rug! It’s amazing! With kids though I’m terrified of them messing it up cause of the light color but we try to be careful and if a mess happens clean it right away. One bloody nose that got a couple small spots on it but we cleaned it right away with some Branch Basics concentrate and their oxyboost and it came right out. Any stain remover and baking soda would prob work great to. We do shoes off before coming inside etc. had it over a month now and it’s seems great! I I have two runners as well that are by the doors that I may try and clean soon just from in and out traffic but over all this rug is perfect for us. Came with creases and had to lay some heavy stuff on it for a night but it settled out. We have carpet pads and a sticker under the runners but the furniture on the big rug is enough to hold it in place.

I recently bought 3 matching rugs from Wmart each one was $19 they are plain tan cheep rugs that are already pulling. I ordered this one with less expectations because of the price. I was very surprised when it came. Now its not a $1000 rug, but it looks super nice, has a fabulous look to it and is soft. Its not very thick so I wish I had bought a pad but I made it work with the pads from the dollar store. The only issue I had is that you must buy a slip protector, It came out from under me on day one ( my Wmart rugs don't do this ) and I fell. Again the dollar store pads work great. I added it to our RV that has a boho farmhouse feel and it was a perfect match.

Very nice rug and looks pretty much as pictured (I got the the Ivory/Silver). I chose the 4'x4' square. It did have some folds in it because of how it was rolled up, which was to be expected....I laid it flat on the floor and covered it with heavier objects (the coffee table, a small ottoman, books, etc.) But, of course, my pup was very curious about it and I didn't want him to mess with it. To finish the "straightening", I hung it from a 3' wide, standing shoe rack with 2 heavy duty clamps which you can get from Lowes, Home Depot, etc. Not sure where else you could do this but I'm sure there are other ways to hang it straight down, perhaps from a door or a shower rod, if it's not too heavy. This seemed to straighten it the rest of the way. The corners are still a little curled up but at this price, I can deal with it and plan to get some floor gripper pads or tape, anyway. A good deal!

Original Review (Update below):This rug is exactly what I wanted, EXCEPT for the chemical smell which is too much. It's been outside, unrolled, on my balcony for 24hrs (in a windy location) and the smell is still there. Currently debating on whether or not to return.UPDATE: after +/- 10 days after having the rug outside, on a balcony, chemical smell has finally dissipated, except when it's been in the sun for a few hours (then it's pretty faint). No longer contemplating returning it, and it's turned out fine.

It was more expensive than the other area rug I purchased off amazon, and lower quality, but I really like the look of it. I bought the 8x10 Ivory and slate. The color is basically the same in person, pattern is more pronounced and up close it looks a little darker, like faded blue jeans. The smell was pretty bad when we first laid it out (same with my other rug) but after leaving the windows open for a day, vacuuming it a couple times, and running my little air purifier, it has cleared up pretty quickly. It also had a lot of ripples that I didn't think would flatten, I let it sit without furniture for awhile, vacuumed it, and pushed a heavy box over it to help straighten and even out. It still has a couple quirks but it has relaxed much better than I thought it would. Posted are images of its flaws, and different angles and lighting for color/pattern.

First of all, we love the color and pattern and it feels really good solid rug. The 10 x 14 size we got looks great over the boring laminate flooring. Only problem we are having is that it still is puckered in places from being rolled. For shipment the 10’ had been folded in half to make it 5 x 14 for rolling. We have had it on the floor for over 2 weeks and rug is still not completely flat. So I’m expecting (hoping) it will improve with time. Any suggestions would be welcomed.**Well after 3 months, the area rug still won't lay flat so I am returning it. The manufacturer should never have folded it the way they did.

De todos los productos que compre de Safavieh, este fue el que menos me gustó, a pesar que es una alfombra que cumple sus funciones adecuadamente, la calidad es inferior al resto de productos que compre de esta marca, el estampado se ve menos delicado que en las fotos y no da la vista igual o similar a lo que promocionan. No volveria a comprar tapetes de este estilo.

El tamaño es perfecto y se limpia fácil, muy buena calidad precio

Très déçu de ce produit. Il y a un défaut flagrant sur un des côtés du tapis. La bordure est carrément croche, c'est très visible! C'est quelque chose qui aurait dû être appercu si il y avait un contrôle de qualité quelquonque. Maintenant il faut se casser la tête avec un retour...quelle frustration.
