I like these mats because of the color and ease of maintaining.

When I ordered these, I did so to use with my son who has multiple disabilities including blindness. We have been through multiple placemats! I DID NOT expect them to be both durable and attractive, considering then price. They wash well: have a tiny cranberry stain that I could not eradicate but barely visible. I can't address the other mats from the same source but I would definitely order these again.

These placemats are easy to clean and stay out on the table even after meal time.

As a parent of three kids, I use it as a placemat to protect my dining table from spills. I like the color and it’s durable. It’s heat and stain resistant but requires a little gentle scrubbing to remove stains. Considering the price for the item, it’s a great buy for me.

TL; DR: great if you want decorative placemats, but incredibly difficult and annoying to clean.I’ll start by saying these table mats are beautiful, I’ve gotten numerous compliments and I loved them so much at first that I bought a second set. That said, I have two major concerns and at this point am most likely going to buy different ones:First, they are porous. I bought them to keep my glass table clean and scratch-free, but if you spill any liquid (including thick sauces) on them, it goes right through and leaves my table dirty.Second, they are impossible to clean. Sure, you can easily rinse them if they’re a little dirty, but if you spill any liquid, it stains and is a huge pain to clean. I have to leave them to soak and then scrub with a rough sponge or toothbrush to get the stains out. Also they are not dishwasher safe (I mistakenly washed one in the dishwasher and it has never regained its original shape) so that’s not an option either.

These work well at my beach house which is a rental. They protect the table, add wonderful colour to a cream coloured table and are easy to clean up- just rinsing under the faucet in the sink. Great product!

When not dressing up table with cloth for “fancy” look (rarely..but sometimes😅 these are great. Look nice, no pulling out of drawers to set up for a meal. Just leave on , wipe off. I can’t coment on stains but ordinary food stuff wipes right off. Did have to take one to sink after food had dried and run under faucet, but it cleaned right up.

These placemats look great but they are not very heat resistant. Already our heated plates have left circular imprints on them. If you want to avoid that, use a charger underneath your warm plates.

Very pretty, just like the picture. These can be wiped off or put in the washing machine.
