I bought this wheel for two mice I rescued. I have it on its metal stand because I have a glass enclosure. I had low expectations of all wheels because they start out quiet then get noisy. The only issue I had with this one is it would wobble over to the wall then tap the glass when they ran in it. The wheel itself is SUPER quiet and fast! My solution? I put a heavy duty command strip on the bottom of it to keep it in place! Win win win! It stays put, they can’t get to it to chew it, I can change it when it gets gross and I can easily remove the wheel to clean it.

This is truly a silent wheel, because I can’t hear it when my gerbils are running around in it. I love the turquoise color that it’s made from as well. It even has a beautiful turquoise colored stand. It’s a very sturdy wheel and it provides my babies with hours and hours of enjoyment!

She's a smaller deer mouse, and this is perfect for her! Silent. Absolutely silent, which I love. I just hear her paws. It teeters a bit, and in a glass habitat there is nothing to anchor it, which I wish would change. Add a suction cup in there... The pedestal it sits on is great, but we all know our cages have 5 inches or more of bedding, and bedding is soft and not flat. Overall a great price and if you set something behind as a brace against the glass, it'll work great.

Quiet…but only one gerbil.. my fault size was small.. still bought a second one..

I bought this to replace a wooden one that was hard to clean. This one is pretty easy to clean and is very quiet, but it does wobble. It also "walks" when my hamster is using it (I use the stand so it isn't attached to the side of the cage). I have to put double sided tape on the bottom to keep it from moving all over while he walks. I'm looking for a replacement because I don't like having to add tape all the time.

We have a cute little dwarf hamster named Moana. She LOVES running and I hate hearing the rattling of the wheel all hours of the night. I got this silent wheel. She loved it and I loved it! Then this morning after a few months of having it, I walked in the dining room to find the wheel snapped off with the axel stuck inside, and my hamster hiding in fear. Poor thing has been hiding all day and is probably quite shaken up. It likely happened while she was running. I’m hoping she wasn’t injured. For reference., the part that attaches the wheel to the cage was still on the cage- so it isn’t user error. The axel just snapped and the wheel went flying off, and landed upside down in the middle of the cage. I would say spring for a more expensive one I guess.

We have a rescued white footed field mouse so he really is only active at night. Finally got to see him use the wheel early this morning. He loves it! And it really is silent!
