Don’t buy
Yeah as other reviews stated it is the worst muffs I have ever bought. Leaked everywhere and wouldn’t make my Suzuki 200 pee. I broke it apart and with my other broken muffs made a solid one that works. A little hose and clamps from an auto part store. Don’t buy it unless your are ready to use it for parts. The rubber on these muffs are too soft and don’t allow enough water into your engine.

Fits loose
Fits loose on a Mercruuser i/o I think it let's too much water leak out even when engine running.

Better quality than expected.
This is not cheap at all. The silver looks to be stainless steel and the two black hoses are very pliable rubber.

The stainless pipe is good.
I have one that has a plastic pipe at the "U" but it has much heavier duty muffs than this one but the plastic cracked after just a few usages. I plan to make one out of 2. I will put the stainless pipe on the heavier muffs and that should be a good unit, too bad they don't sell one already in that configuration, I would rate 5 stars.

Works great, stays on.
Stayed clamped on and provided necessary water to outboard motor. No issues.
