this would be great mixed with a things maybe even brown gravy and rice but alone its a bland and tasteless. as it set is why its getting a 4 rating.

when i was a kid their was a small amount of shredded beef in a can for around a dollar, always love it but rarely could afford it. so as a adult i wanted it again, i did not like the price of others options that did have it in a small can like i remembered, so thought this was a good price for what i wanted even thu it was in a resealable bag.it is the same shredded meat i remember taste near identical, the bag is easy to reseal so am happy, i read a random comment that it can be used and a flavor topping and truthfully i agree, never had enough to try as a kid but this bag is a large amount an easy can be used as such and will try it later.the meat itself is very fine easy too chew, a few of the meat had a mild hardness too them so use care if you have false or no teeth, it will be sharp for gums only mention that since my mother has denture and she has issues with things i do not.

This product gave my husband and I a horrible bout of food poisoning. I know it was this product because he and I do not eat the same things at all and I offered him a taste of it, a pinch to show him how good it was. There are two stickers on this bag. It's so finely shredded, perhaps shredded too finely. It disintegrates in the mouth quickly and doesn't hold up long enough to be a "chew". Flavor is good.

With everything going on lately I have been trying to avoid any trips to the store. I had been wanting some machacado for my eggs and decided to try this. It is way better than any machacado I've ever tried. It's similar, but is shredded super fine and mixes very well and easily with eggs. The flavor is perfect. Simple, pure taste of dried meat without tons of preservatives and other ingredients that sound like ingredients in a science lab. I also have family members that love beef jerky, but have a hard time chewing it. They love this stuff better than what you can normally find in other competitors shredded jerky. I will definitely be buying more jerky products from this company, and that says a lot. I am such a beef jerky person, that I have to make my own the way I want it. I make great beef jerky and haven't bought any other since... until now. They have a long time customer here.

I love their other products but this was definitely a big miss. Stick to jack link's for shredded jerky this is basically meat powder.
