I think it does a great job. I've never repaired a bumper before, but I think it came out well. As long as you're not picky, it’s not perfect, but at least it’s not an eyesore.

I wasn't sure what to think about trying to do something like this myself going in, but I figured I would give this repair kit a try. I'm really big on reading reviews, then taking into consideration if I think I have the skill level to be able to do something. I have a 2020 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk that I bought brand new; it was my very first new vehicle. So you can imagine how bummed I was when early on I ran the front wheel trim into my snowblower while parking in my garage. And like an idiot, I shut the garage door when the hatchback to my vehicle was open and scratched the heck out of the top of it. Big gouges that broke my heart to look at on both parts of the vehicle, and I figured I was hundreds of dollars in before I could even get a portion of it fixed. I had been driving around with it like this letting it make me sad until I started doing my research on Amazon. I came across this product and I can tell you that it is a lifesaver! I did the work in my garage during a rainstorm with not the best lighting, so I didn't know if it was going to turn out that great. While it is not perfect, it is completely unnoticeable unless you really stare at it and are aware that there was damage there. I am completely thrilled with the way that the trim turned out when looking at it in the daylight. The area by the cyclops light needs a little bit more work, but this black bumper paint worked perfect on that as well. Fortunately there are a lot of plastic parts on my vehicle that this color worked well for. I've included a photo so you can see that even though the trim on my vehicle is like a dark charcoal gray, everything matched up real well. It probably didn't take me more than an hour to do both the front and back of my SUV with the results that you'll see in the pictures. I would highly recommend that if you're even remotely confident about your skill, that you buy this should you need to repair a bumper on your vehicle. Skip the auto body shop and try it out. I think you'll be pleased. The one recommendation that I have is that after trimming off any frayed plastic, make sure that you sand it well, pressing as much of the putty into the grooves before you do so. Don't leave clumps of it up over the top because you will make your job harder. It smooths out kind of like a thick wall spackle. I didn't use the glove, and instead used my bare finger as I found the glove too cumbersome to work with. Of course I have a little staining the next day, but I've never been afraid to get my hands dirty and most of it came off in the shower this morning. As long as you smooth it out with your fingertips, sand it down, put more filler in if you have to, and then sand again... If you can look away from the spot and close your eyes and rub your fingertip over the area that you've worked on... I find that that is the best way to tell if the area is going to be noticeable once I've completed it. I'm just really happy with this product and will recommend it to my friends.

Easy to use. Clear instructions. Provided with all the required accessories to do the work. Very staisfying results. Very good product.

I think the material itself is pretty good, but the instruction is very difficult to follow through, probably because it’s not from america. It’s from Germany. Also the packaging was bad, the epoxy was hard and dried, when i received and opened the package.

This product was easy to use. ...Its all in the prep the filler should be used sparingly as once it sets it's time consuming to feather out less product less sanding easy touch up .looks great..

I tried it on the area above the left side of the cloth. What I didn't realize is that it is flat base color so it needs a coat or two of high gloss clear coat. I tried talking to the folks at Paint-Z-Fix who confirmed the need for the clear coat but didn't seem to have any recommendations for where to get it. The plastic bumper cover that I am repairing was dented and after I straightened it out there were a number of hair line cracks that the touch up simply would not adhere to without leaving some excess paint around the crack. I guess I will have to sand and repaint the entire piece. Not a task that I am looking forward to!

Man, can I just say how relieved I am? This product really WORKS! I was driving on the interstate the other day and hit an object that had fallen off the person in front of me. I was so bummed because it scuffed up my car and even caused me to lose another part of my exterior. To at least get the scuffs out and make me feel a bit better, I ordered this product. I was a little hesitant because of the lack of reviews, but it did exactly what it described it would do! it worked WONDERS. You can’t even tell anything had really happened to my car at all (besides the missing part haha). It literally turned my whole mood and week around. Quick shipping, easy to use. I’ve recommended this to everyone I know. It’s fantastic!

My lovely neighbor sideswiped the front end of my Honda CRV. Only the black plastic. Touch up paint does little good on the plastic bumpers. I am very impressed with the initial paint that came with this kit. The gash was not deep enough to need the plastic filler that also came with the kit.The black paint is a eggshell/satin black plastic. Exactly for regular bumpers. Highly recommend to anyone with clumsy drivers around.
