I usually do not write reviews but I had to come back two months later and write a review for this. I bought this back in October for myself. It was intended to go on my back porch. When I got the product, for the heck of it, I hooked it to some hardware I have attached in my family room/ playroom. (My son is autistic and we used to have his sensory swing hanging in this spot.) I thought it was just a novelty as the kids fought over who gets to sit in it. But two months later, it is the favorite seat in the house. My 11 year old autistic son loves to sit in it to do his schoolwork and uses it like his sensory swing. My 15 and 16 year olds also love to sit in it. All of them have fallen asleep in it at some point. I also get to use it and it is so relaxing. There is something about lightly swinging that just calms the body.As far as durability, this swing has been used a lot every day since October. It holds well over 200 pounds. The ropes are holding up nicely. The canvas seat is soft- not rough and itchy. The two throw pillows that come with it are meh, but we usually just sit on them piled in the bottom of the swing. You can use other pillows though. Some reviews have said it is not big enough for an adult. It is. This is not a full lounging hammock. It is a seat. I sit in it and my whole body from head to knees fit comfortably. Your legs do hang off as it isn’t a bed. Overall, I have been so impressed by this purchase and can’t believe it wasn’t very expensive. Oh and it has yet to make it to my porch- I may have to buy another one for out there.UPDATE seven months later: still the favorite and most used seat in the house. No, it did not ever make it outside to my porch. It is still holding up great- no rips or wearing down. Really impressed considering how much this seat is used every day!Update #2: a year later, still the favorite seat in the house, and yeah, never made it out to the porch :) And it is holding up great. We use it every day and there are no rips or tears or signs of it giving out. One of my favorite Amazon purchases!Update #3: still fave seat in our playroom. Never made it outside. But he held up very well for over a year and a half. The material shows signs of wear but no rips or tears. The ropes are showing a little wear, but surprisingly still in good condition.Update #4: I have to come back and say that after OVER 2 1/2 years of DAILY frequent use by my whole family and their friends, the ropes at the top finally gave out. However, I am immediately ordering another one- the same one- to replace this one in our playroom. The old one is still good if we just replace the top rope. We are going to replace the rope and FINALLY put it outside where it was supposed to go in the first place. One of my favorite Amazon purchases ever!

It is great, really comfortable and strong. It is a bit difficult to put together. The chair element goes on fine, but the other hangy part is difficult to stretch over the bar at first.

This photo is current. The sky chairs are 4 yrs old. I bought three of these during COVID... April 2020 and hung them outside under a rudimentary awning. I created several indoor and outdoor spaces for kids to distance learn. Well, the ENTIRE neighborhood of kids, elementary to high school, have used and abused these things for 4 yrs now. I've never washed them. They've been outside in Pinellas county Florida through multiple Tropical storms, a few hurricanes and countless thunderstorms and rainy hot humid miserable days. There's barely any rust on the poles and no aspect of any chair has ever broken. I'm 195# and have sat safely and extremely comfortably for hundreds of hours in these. I recently moved them out front under the oaks so now they're covered in pollen, sap and bird poo...but they're STILL the first and last spot all the kids/ adults wind up regularly in my hood. I used metal chain and swivel caribeners to hang. I invested in decent hardware and am glad I did. Florida is very destructive.If you're on the fence get off it. Pull the trigger and buy a few of these. They create such a great hang out.

Sturdy, easy to assemble, comfy to sit in. I do wish it was a little bigger to give more wiggle room, but I do love it.

It’s cheap and the quality matches. The pillows are similar to the ones you get on an airplane. The photos in the listing are just simply not accurate. It held. It’s fine for the kids but it’s definitely not even average quality.

Every time I'm in my swing i relax, i wish i ordered it sooner. I'm 180ish lbs and it's extremely sturdy and comfortable. Absolutely recommend!!! I put a full sized gel pillow on the seat and use the 2 others that come with it behind me.

I love my new chair. I had to throw my swing away last summer and my little granddaughter was upset. I got this in its place I can't wait for us to make new memories there

Good material but an adult in it and your legs are squashed together which is pretty uncomfortable! Maybe ok for a child.....

Solid construction. We love everything about it except that it is really musty smelling. I hope after it's washed and dried the smell will be gone.
