UPDATED REVIEW (1 Star)After washing and drying, the duvet and shams are very wrinkled, and worse, the pleats don't lay like they should. I've attached photos to show how they look. I took this right out of the laundry myself while the dryer was still running--it didn't sit for any time.I, like most, don't care for ironing, I feel like now that we live in modern times, with modern fabrics, we shouldn't have to. Terrible wrinkles.ORIGINAL REVIEW (3 Stars)The color of the Pinzon Pleated Hem Duvet in Mocha is a lovely taupe (grayish beige), definitely cooler on the color spectrum. It looks very nice in our room and would probably match most interiors. The 400-thread count fabric is so shiny and soft, it's really quite nice. It's got a bit of that satin shine but not bad, though it's definitely not matte.I would give the actual duvet cover 5 stars... but the shams look so strange that I would give them one star. The edges of the shams are floppy and weak. They don't look anything like the photos. The shams pleated sides flop down limply and look pretty unkempt. I tried different sized pillows but nothing could help the edges from looking sad and saggy. The shams look like homeless pillows while the duvet looks like the upper crust royalty. The dichotomy is baffling how one portion could look so buttoned up while it's counterpart looks shanty.Because of the shams, I cannot recommend this set.

I ordered this for our master bed so that it would be the same as the Queen sized ones we got for a guest room and a son away at college in 2012 that was perfect. The two duvet covers are not the same material at all. The 2012 one had a matt finish to it and seems much thicker material that this 2017 version. This one is really shiny and not at all what I was expecting. It is noisy when you turn in the night (the 2012 version did not make such noise). The first time the cat jumped on the bed the material snagged. The 2012 version has held up to years of 4 cats jumping on it without any sign of wear and tear and definitely no snags.What the heck have you done to what was a perfect bedding set? The details on the two sets look identical, but they are not identical materials. Seller/Manufacturer: Please bring back the old weight material, even if it carries a different description. You should inform customers when you change the specs of the material you use as, like me, some of them are trying to get the same covers on all the beds in the house.

Wasn't sure how I was actually going to like this. I just got my first duvet so this makes my first duvet cover. I have always used comforters but was tired of the struggle to wash them. Plus with a duvet you can change the cover as much as you want and not have 50 comforters to stash somewhere. Very soft for the price, my husband is a sheet snob and he loves it. Good material, color matches the picture well (I bought "parchment"). Nothing bad to say, really transformed my bedroom. Looks much nicer than what I had before and I spent more money on the last set.

This is my first duvet set for the first down duvet my wife and I have purchased. After a good amount of research, this set came in at the most reasonable price for cotton material (over synthetic), which is what we prefer in bedding.After two months use I can say that it feels very smooth to the touch, washes easily, and seems like it should last a long time with everyday usage. When you consider the price compared to most cotton sets, it's an amazing value.

Really amazed at this cover.Just washed it, and cover my comforter with it. It seems to be pretty legit, and it’s soft and comfortable . The only little detail is that the pillow cases are tight for a queen pillow but they do cover it all.Other than that, time will tell.

Soft and very good quality. This is the 4th set of bedding I have bought this year from this company. Would reomend.

This set feels and looks like I paid a lot more. It has extra nice features that some cheaper duvet covers I've had in the past didn't. Nice inside corner fasteners and even the buttons for the bottom edge and nicely covered. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I ordered this despite the review that said it arrives wrinkled and the detail on it was turning different directions. It arrived on time and the quality is fantastic. It fits my calking comforter just fine and the quality was excellent. The color I ordered was parchment and it is a very light ivory which is what I was hoping to receive. The fabric is definitely quality and I think this duvet cover will stand the test of time. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I loved this set when I first got it (look and feel), but the day you need to wash the sheets in a temperature higher than cold and put them in the drier is the day these covers turn into regular sheets (they lose that lovely sheen).

La tela es perfecta y suave y el color muy lindo (compré la versión mocha, no es café como la imagen, más bien es beige oscuro tendiendo a dorado, con un leve brillo satín, muy lindo).El problema es el tamaño. Compré tamaño king y apenas alcanza a cubrir el colchón. Lo mismo el decorado que tiene en forma de líneas no queda en el borde de la cama, sino queda encima de la cama lejos del borde. Por ambas cosas pareciera que es un edredón matrimonial que estiré para cama king. Se ve “rabón”. Si tienes cama king no te recomiendo este modelo. Si tienes matrimonial o queen te recomiendo comprar la versión king.Por otro lado, lean bien la descripción, no es un edredón como tal sino una funda y el relleno se compra aparte.

I have used this since the day I got it. Quality product and now for winter I have to stuff my duvet into it. It has been a great bed cover - elegant looking, but not over the top.

bought this although didn't end up using it. The picture shows a distinct definition between grey tones. Actually almost the same colour in the design. Wanted something more distinct....kept it and used on spare room bed.

Since I've never had a duvet cover before it took me a little while to figure it out but once I did I was quite pleased with the finished product.
