Preston Lee's Read & Write English Lesson 1 - 40 For Spanish Speakers (Preston Lee's English For Spanish Speakers)

To advance for recipient. Book is excellent for someone that knows some English.

I am looking for an alternative Introductory series for teaching English as a second language. This book assumes a large English vocabulary from the first page. By the time my students have reached the point where they could read the Reading selections, they have already learned the accompanying vocabularies presented. I have been using Laubach Way to Reading which is more suited for English speakers who want to learn to read and write English. Laubach is very good at this. It falls short as a way to learn English because of the limited amount of everyday English that is presented, although it does offer good ESL supplemental teachers' guides.

We were all surprised at how convenient, purposeful and useful this product turned out to be. We are very excited to trust this product because we have been doing so for the past three years. I would recommend said product to friends and family nonstop. My students loved it.
