Okay guys! Had this fountain for a few months now and we absolutely love it! For reference we have 3 large breed dogs who all absolutely love this bowl! In fact our lab strictly uses this unless we are away from home and it isn’t an option. We usually fill it every couple of days but we also have another water bucket in the back room that they utilize as well although they much prefer this filtered fountain (Just to give you an idea of capacity) As far as noise level it is completely silent when full and as the water level gets low I begin to hear it but it isn’t bothersome at all it’s actually a subtle reminder that it’s time to top it off for me. The dogs all love this and I 100% recommend to everyone, people walk into the house and immediately “oh your dogs are fancy” haha. Also when I went to order replacement filters I accidentally ordered the wrong size and the COMPANY NOTICED! They actually pay attention to their users orders and sent me the correct sized filters and told me the mistake I had made for future orders so I don’t make that mistake again. They really looked out for me and I absolutely love it! Another fun thing I did was to set it up on a smart plug so when we are sleeping and the dogs don’t have access to that room it can be turned off remotely with alexa!UPDATE 1 YEAR LATERI have loved this fountain for my pups however it has quit working after about a year.Initially the blue lights on it stopped working a few months ago which was no big deal since it still worked but now the pump has completely stopped working or it has some kind of glitch in it as the "low water level" red light is on and it is not pumping but it is filled to the correct max level. I've considered reordering another but may try another brand to see if i can get a longer life out of one. Still a great little fountain but would have liked it to have a longer lifespan.

This is our second Dogness pet fountain as the first stopped working after a year or so. We ordered the second thinking that it was probably improved version, but boy we were wrong. The pump doesn't secure to the basin and moves around, making the top a pain to put on. The output tube from the pump doesn't tightly fit on to the pump so manufacturer is using a round gasket that falls out. We are very disappointed in the quality of this product. It's a great idea, just not being executed very well.

Our pup loves running water. When it runs out of water he paws at it for more. The cleaning entails disassembly of the fountain, running everything under hot water until all the slime is removed from the parts, and a change of the filter about 1x a month. Our dog is 30 lbs and I clean and fill it about every 5 days.

I've had this Dogness Pet Water Fountain for six months, and enjoyed the sound of the water, which starts out silent, but gets louder as the water level goes down. With 3.2 liters of water in the tank, I was not worried about my little dog running out of water, but on the other hand, 3.2 liters is quite a volume of water for a small dog, so I've changed the water often.The problems:It's difficult to get the lid off to refill the container. There's really no place to get a grip on the lid.I've found water on the floor several times, but thought that I was careless setting it down or the little dog was sloppy when drinking.Lately, my dog hasn't been interested in drinking out of the fountain - even though I've changed the water and filter often and cleaned the container as much as I could to keep it fresh.Once, the water wasn't coming out very strong, so I took all the removeable parts off and looked them over well - and discovered that the sponge filter in the pump was clogged with algae or something. That was gross. I cleaned it up, put it all back together, and it was ready to go again.The last time I cleaned the container, I found algae or something in the crevasses. I cleaned everything in the fountain, wiped out all the crevasses and checked the sponge filter in the pump.I was super careful to put the fountain back in its place on the floor without spilling any water. I've been watching the little dog to see if she was drinking enough water as she hasn't been going to the fountain much anymore. I ended up giving her water in a bowl.Less than 24 hours after cleaning and filling the fountain one more time, I found a pool of water on the floor yet again. We are done with the fountain.
