Another greatly designed ship. Trying to collect the series now that prices are clearance. Initially priced way too high for a small kids toy but the $7-8 range is doable for most gift ranges in this economy.It's hollow lightweight plastic with moving gear and a canopy.There is a mount on the bottom for accessories in other large exclusive kits. Some other sets have holes or magnets so who knows what the possibilities would have been for connecting new things had this movie not turned itself into a message instead of a story.After getting several sets I have noticed paint errors. At the $17 retail you'd expect a BanDai Japanese level of quality. My XL14 has a canopy misprint. Not the end of the world but if you're collecting be sure to look carefully. The paint is durable and holds up to play very well.The figure is DiaClone scale and adds a lot of play to the ship for kids wishing they were in it but could be a problem for teething babies.The size is almost 100mm wide, this being the widest of all the XL ships. It fits perfectly in a kids fingers to fly it around.Hope more come out but this may be it.
