Got these for camping. My car tent shade has the option. If attaching to the vehicle via clamps, but also as a stand alone. I bought these to be additional supports for that, which they work as expected/desired. However the benefit, my hatchback “jacks” broke and I haven’t been able to replace, so I keep these in the trunk to use to prop the door up when needed. Simple temporary solution that i appreciate having around.

telescoping length not what advertised---only half!

These are sturdy, easy to use. Not yet sure how durable they are because just got them.The only drawback is they're shorter than I expected (only 5') but I should have paid more attention to the description. I didn't try them out and notice the shortness until it was too late to return. I will be able to use them for some purposes.

The black and silver poles are DIFFERENT SIZES. I did not realize that and accidentally purchased the shorter one which was not useful for me. I purchased these to hold up a tarp off of our VW Westfalia Vanagon which were held up to the van by magnets. I saw this on Youtube and thought I would try it. I ended up using a different set because the taller ones didn't arrive in time for my trip but overall these seemed great. Just get the right size ;)

I loved my tarp poles except I had a slight issue with one that didn’t want to lock at the last extension then it took a good bit to get it to release but when in use the poles neverfell or collapsed it rained several t during my camping trip and the tops anchored the tarp and there was nothing to do but sit back and enjoy the only thing is I ordered silver and got red my rain fly is blue and gold so I was looking for a muted color but it didn’t affect the working of the poles so no harm no foul love the poles I would buy them again

Great tent poles! However, i was somewhat misled by the description. I wanted the longer poles and didn't realize that each color was a different size. Simply picked the cheaper ones because color wasn't on my mind. So, i ended up with the smaller poles do to my lack of description reading.

I wish these were a foot taller but otherwise love them. Held a tarp in position as an awning at a campsite through a heavy thunderstorm with strong winds. Very happy with them.

Was trying to buy 8 foot poles, options for black or silver appeared. We chose silver. Turns out silver ones were only 4 feet 11 inches. Would cost 69 dollars to return them. Not impressed one bit.
