SharkBite 1/2 x 3/4 Inch MHT Brass Crimp 45 Degree Hose Bibb, PEX Pipe, PE-RT, UC24632Z

These taps are great. The shark design is cool and they have a screw so if you want to spraypaint them with a nice exterior paint you can without getting the brass covered. I have yet to do this though so I can't say how the paint sticks but that's probably dependant on the paint.As with most taps, be aware of the clearance when attaching it. If you attach this directly to a wall or wood, there won't be enough space behind the top of the tap for your fingers so you need to turn it on and off from the front side. An easy fix is to just add a little bumpout that ends 1.5" above the center point of your hole that these attach on to bump the tap out from the wall. I used a deck board and it worked great. (See photo.)The ones I purchased had pex connections. I also purchased a pex crimper and copper rings and it was exactly the same to connect as all other pex crimp connections. None leak and all work flawlessly.I do wish the 'neck' was a bit longer so I didn't need to build that little bump out, but I feel like this is standard on most taps, and I don't think it deserves to bump these down to a 4.Again, I purchased the pex connection versions of these, so if you're interested in the ones with the SharkBite push connection or another one, I can't speak for those, but the quality will be very high for the cost!

Cost a little more, worth it.

Worked great and fixed my leaking outdoor faucet

This faucet allowed me to get my cabin water set up to water the tree outside and at the same time provide something for the animals to browse on (grass) in a little spot we could keep going with this nasty drought.

Overall this is a nice hose bibb with a catchy handle! Install was straightforward, very simple for the most part if you have the right tools. My one complaint about it lies with the design. Once installed, there is little room between the top edge of the handle and the wall it is mounted on making for slight difficulty, or annoyance when turning it on/off as you rub your knuckles on the wall if you are not careful. A little more distance would be nice, not a deal breaker and something one can adjust to.
