First of all, the thing is just beautiful!!! I got the Koa glossy version. Just gorgeous workmanship. So tiny and adorable!! I am a guitarist, but I've never dealt with an instrument with nylon strings before. I noticed immediately that it takes a bit to tune it. You have to tune it, then re-tune it, then re-tune it, etc..., until it is finally in tune. Once in tune, it gives you that classical Ukelele sound. I suspect that it will take a while before the strings are stretched enough to stay in tune for extended periods. That's fine, because you should always tune your instrument before you play it anyway. I think that is just the way nylon strings are. It is a pure joy to play. Learn a few chords, and just strum away. I highly recommend this little Ukelele. Nice little instrument, and you can't beat the price!!

The look of it is simply super high end, tough it is not solid wood it looks just as if it was all mahogany. Beautifully built.SOUND: Very clear and nice resonance from the woods which plays very well with an acoustic guitar in terms of volume. It is little, but puts out a nice warm yet Ukulele like crisp highsSTRINGS: I have kept the ones that are on and they do match the additional ones that they sent out (which is really cool), again not a Ukulele pro, however the strings are holding up very well and after the first week of playing and stay in tune quite wellBODY: For this price, SUPERB! It is solid built and I can tell it will also take on some beating for a while. The neck is beautiful with a satin finish which makes nice to slide back and forth as you playTUNERS: These in combination with the strings that it comes with have worked super well to keep the instrument in tune for days at a time only minor adjustments every other day, and good to go.PLAYABILITY: Right out of the box this Ukulele feels very smooth around the fretboard, the frets are well polished and do not catch your fingers, the back of the neck allows for easy position change.BAG: Sturdy, extra pocket with zippers for any accessories you might want to carry (tuners, strings, pics, etc.), and it has two shoulder straps sot that you can wear it like a backpack. Nice!EXTRAS: in most cases the “bundles” are a combination of a few cheap items along with the main Item just to catch attention. Not the case here, the tuner (of the same brand as the guitar) works super well, and the plus is that it can be used for any string/vibration instrument. I haven’t used the extra set of strings, but if they are the same as the ones that came installed, I am in good shape. The strap as a really nice pattern and works very well, it can even be adjusted to fit a smaller child.Also comes with a nice padded case. High quality case ..

I wanted a new concert ukulele that had a strap. My current one is for beginners. After I read all the reviews I decided to purchase this concert professional ukulele. Comfortable to hold. Frets smooth. Aquila strings easy on my 74 year old fingers. I like the strap which was easy to install. At times when standing up to play keeps ukulele from sliding around. I like the sound too. I am a member of a ukulele group and we perform out in the community.The only thing I don’t like are the tuning pegs. Can see the gears. Most are covered to make a nicer appearance. But they are easy to use, unlike my beginner ukulele. Overall I am happy with my purchase.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve always been an electric guitar guy, but when I saw this ukulele on sale, I decided to give it a shot. I absolutely love it—the tone, the playability, everything about it. Since getting it, I’ve looked into other ukuleles, but none have measured up to this one.

Just got my hurricane ukulele. It is a thing ‘O beauty in a wild kinda way. My only complaint is that the action is pretty high but my goodness. It’s a ukulele. I can still play it easy. I might try filing the bridge but I don’t want to mess up the intonation which is great! Mine came with 2 strap buttons. Yes I read all the reviews before I purchased. Also came with tuner,strap,an exceedingly good gig bag etc. The tuners are excellent! Like really excellent. The tone is pretty good but I kinda think it’s gonna get a lot better with time and settling in the strings,etc. The strings are not tied down. I haven’t loosened them enough but apparently they tie on or something inside the body. I’ll figure it out. But for right now, if I got a guitar with this high action, I’d say no way. But seriously it doesn’t matter. It’s beautiful, it’s wild, and I can’t wait to see where it takes me. I got the spalted maple. It’s really beautiful.

This Hricane Spalted Maple Ukulele is truly unique. The wood grain on this thing is amazing, so amazing that it almost looks fake, but I don’t care because it looks incredible. My son is starting to learn Ukulele at school so I got him this one since he also loved the look of it, and the school ones are the usual boring looking Ukes you see everywhere.I am really surprised at how good it sounds and the quality of the instrument in general. The fretwork, finish, binding, nut, saddle, they are all flawless. The setup is great out of the box with the action being around 0.9mm at the nut and 2.5mm at the 12th. I do my own setups on guitars so naturally I had to do it here, just because I can, to 0.4mm at the nut and 2mm at the 12th. This really wasn’t needed as it played great as is, but now it’s just ridiculously easy to play and still no buzzing.The price may be a little higher than some other Concert Ukuleles but if you like the look of this one, it’s pretty hard to beat. I, for one, did not want a boring looking Uke, and I’m glad my son didn’t either. The case is actually great too and getting a tuner and all the other accessories with it just adds to the value.

It is very much worth it. It arrived the day after we ordered it. It has good quality and all the freebies are all included and complete. Included in the package is the box with the case; inside it is the concert ukulele (same as in the photo in the description) under the ukulele are the freebies: Pouch, cleaning cloth, extra strings, pick, strap, and clip-on tuner with battery included (the tuner is good and could be used with other instruments).

Well made and lovely tone. Beautiful appearance and well equipped with accessories.
