It took me a couple hours to complete the installation, but in the end, it looked great!I also had to watch a couple videos to get the details on how to start the stitching, but then I started to see the results and my steering wheels looks like a new one.

so far so good. i really like this. unfortunately i tried to do it myself and failed so when i had my dad do it he ran out of thread and had to use some of the red but will be fixing it with black soon. it took him 3 hours to complete and was a bit tricky but overall i love it so far

If you are not a professional and if you don’t know sewing and how to tie knots this might not be for you..it took me multiple days to complete because the instruction page was not clear and the videos are helpful but still don’t tell you precisely how to tie knots.Also if had markings on exactly where the curvatures should end at that would’ve been helpful.Overall it was quite difficult and the thread is hard so your hands keep feeling it on the steering wheel..If money is not an issue than better off getting it done at an car upholstery shop.Otherwise make sure you get some basic knowledge of sewing and tiring knots first before buying it

Everything lined up perfect, plenty of sewing material, just take your time. Took me about 2 hours. Very pleased. Looks original. Let's see how long it holds up but so far A+

Good quality products fits and hold well. But still you need some skills to install. Looks and feel great. Look like OEM after all.

Well I can't believe I did it, I wouldn't say I'm a very patient person and I basically have 10 thumbs for fingers but it took me a few hours across two days to get it done. But seriously , if you have a worn steering wheel and want an upgraded look without paying $700+ for an aftermarket wheel while losing your heated function, get this! I would give it 5/5 stars but they didn't provide a video like the description says, and they don't give great instructions on setting up the needle and starting the first stitch.Things to note, this is my first time sewing anything ever and I want to share a couple tips I picked up.1) Most YouTube videos are absolute trash for sewing, all you need to know is how to make a simple knot on to the needle, I started double knotting the thread onto the needle as It would come loose over time.2) Triple knot the loose end of the thread so it doesn't pull through the back side of the first stitch3) Thread the needle through the backside of the first stitch through the leather, pulling the cover towards you, then thread the needle through the first loop towards the dash, pull taught, then flip the needle towards you and thread from the back to the front and pull taught, push the corner you started on with the tool under the trim. Should be the same pattern up until the end.4) If this is your first tike like me, USE THE BLACK THREAD. You won't be able to see you gross mistakes!

I'm so happy with this! - it is better than described - this is a definite upgrade for my 2022 CX9.My issue though: I'm sure that like me most buyers are not experts at sewing - I wish they sent same color extra thread - I had to redo mine and did not want to use Red that came with the black - had to buy Nylon thread to redo the job. Instructions were great and I suggest reading and watching the video and be patient!With that said - I would buy again and again - forget steering wheel covers - this is a labor of love and I'm so happy I did it!
