Top quality for the money
Purchased the 12K back in April of 2021, have used it several times and have no complaints at all. Would purchase it again when I need another one.

Initial review
I just installed this and it seemed very straight forward, for me. I have installed a few of these over the years so it was fairly simple to install. The package came intact without any damage to the box or the internal items. All items were there and has a great booklet with decent instructions. I like the design and how it fit into the rig. I will be testing this out in the next few weeks and will come back and update my review. The only question/concern I have is that the wired/wireless controller is one in the same and seems to work great. They sent a battery that I assume is for the controller and the controller is already working wireless....the only question that I have yet to answer is "How do I charge the battery for the controller?". There is nothing in the documentation that speaks to it, if the extra battery is for the controller (logic says yes), how long the battery will last. The concern here is how does one keep the spare battery with you and not lose it and how long will the wireless last? Can you buy spare batteries for the controller? I will try and add some pics shortly.

A seemingly sturdy winch, with the cheapest electrical parts ever
Got this for my tj wrangler, and it seemed like a good bargain. Winch is heavy, seems to be constructed nicely, and I have used it already to pull a 3/4 ton truck out of the sugar sand, he got stuck in.This Main issues with the winch, are electrical related. First and foremost, the "power cables". Never in my life have I found a cheaper, flimsier, more poorly built set of "cables" in my life. I trimmed the red power cable to fit, and the crimp on a terminal. The "cable" is super-flimsy, so I decided to cut open the piece I trimmed off, to see what was inside.Imagine my surprise/disappointment to find a bunch of loose wires, just laying inside the jacket. They aren't twisted, braided or otherwise compacted together to form a cable. They are literally just a hollow tube of red plastic filled with loose, bare wires. The first time these get a serious load on them, they will start individually melting, and the "cable" will fail. That is the secret to the flexibility, there is no cable here, just a tube of loose wires, as thick as strands of human hair. SERIOUSLY.The remotes, previously mentioned by multiple posters, are cheap, junky plastic, reminiscent of a cereal box toy, or a cheap party favor given out at a kids birthday party. They are absolute garbage. After a single use, one of mine died, so i had to use the spare. (Obviously the reason for 2 remotes in the first place, they know they are junk)I have a battery disconnect switch between the winch and battery, for safety and to ensure this thing doesn't drain my battery, due to failed electronics. I am going to rewire the entire winch, from battery, to and including, the relay box, with actual battery cables, and see how it will perform then. The last pic shows the bolt for the Fairless, mounted to my Hooke Road bumper. After tightening the bolts (with blue Loctite added) I had to use the death-wheel, and cut the bolt off flush with the nut, to mount this winch. Look closely, there's enough clearance for a credit card between the bolt and winch frame. It's tight, but it will fit.I did get a cover for it too, mostly to help protect the synthetic line from UV damage. For the money, it is a solid winch, it just has craptastic electronics. I would have gladly paid more, for real cables, and a remote that didn't seem like a poor kids favorite cereal prize.

NOT WATERPROOF - Rusted bolts and interior of winch, quit working after 4 months
Winch quit working within 4 months of install on front of Jeep. Pulled the bolts on the motor and saw they were rusted. We didn't drive through water so it would have just been from rain getting into it and we live in Central Texas and it hasn't rained that much. Tried to clean it up and contacted Rugcel and they offered no warranty coverage. The product stated a 3-year limited warranty. After numerous e-mails regarding the issue, with their response being to take the winch apart and put it back together, the company is no longer responding. Would not recommend this product based on our experience.

Looks good
Looks good there's a few issues you should be aware of, the top electrical box that mounts to the winch itself the holes don't line up very well and it's kind of difficult to install all four bolts and as far as the electrical connectors to the winch and then routing them to the battery Let's just say you have to use a lot of zip ties to make it look somewhat decent I never understood how Warn can make the wires function and look good and hide well but no other Winch company so far has been able to figure that out lol

Works well with a lot of strangth
After my husband installed it it worked great with the attached controller. The remotes would not work. I contacted the company and they quickly sent new remotes and the control part that attaches to the winch. Couldn't ask for better service. This will be great for when my husband is out in the woods.

Reliable and effortless!
Worked effortlessly to get us out of a harrowing situation... we got stuck going up a muddy sandhill, back tires half buried, front tire dug in good as well on a very steep incline.. synthetic rope is the only way to go in wet and muddy or sandy conditions as it doesn't rust and rolls out and retracts smoothly, literally pulled us out like a hot knife through butter..totally worth every penny! A good winch is essential in the bush and this one has given us, simply... piece of mind that we will not be stuck for very long. I definitely recommend!

Excellent so far
Really good high quality unit. Really like it so far and remote worked flawlessly first time. Could have come with some instructions on assembly. Figured it out but have never put one together before and would have been nice to have instructions to double check.

Good product
I dont have a bumper built to mount it to yet, but i hooked it to a battery and it seems to work good. Both cordless remotes and the corded remote worked flawlessly. They could have marked which is in and which is out on the wireless remotes but otherwise im 100% satisfied with the product.
