I recently purchased an outdoor TV and, unfortunately, encountered an issue shortly after setting it up. However, the customer service I received was outstanding. They were quick to respond, handled the situation professionally, and resolved the problem efficiently. The replacement process was seamless, and I’m now enjoying my outdoor TV with no further issues. In fact, the picture is really bright and looks great poolside. Audio is dialed too. Great value. Highly recommend this company for their excellent service and quality products.Let me know if you’d like to tweak anything!

This is an update to my previous review. After being contacted from higher level support, I was sent a replacement tv. Got it mounted and it works great. Guess I got a defective unit. Huge shout out to Leah and Leeke for taking the time to address my issue.Previous review:Picture is outstanding and very bright. My only issue is when in direct sunlight (with 80 degree temps) it seems to overheat and the screen goes very dark. The sound is still on. I have to unplug it and put it in the shade for 15-20 minutes then it’ll work for another 30 minutes. I put a pool umbrella over it to shade it and it works fine. This is not why I bought it. Contacted support several times, but was told that was just the nature of the tv and good luck. Don’t advertise it as DIRECT SUNLIGHT if it fails in DIRECT SUNLIGHT. My $300 Vizio worked this well for $2000 less.

TV arrived in good shape. Built well and waterproofing seems good.While there is no clear definition of what a smart tv is this one is in the dull category. It has Netflix, YouTube and a few other apps but no App Store and you cannot add apps! If you want to use a streaming service not in their limited line up you will need to add a Roku or Firestick device. How do you keep that waterproof? I added a ROKU streambar which gave us streaming we desired plus better sound than the built in speakers. Some people said not compatible but it has an HDMI (ARC) port and mine works fine.If it was truly a 'Smart TV' it would get a 5 star.Also purchased the Sylvox 600x400 articulating mounting bracket though have not gotten it mounted yet. Also, purchased the cover and intend to use it for the winter months.

For the price, you would love to believe you are buying a great working product. My Sylvox 55” Deck Series came packaged well, remote setup was easy and seamless.However there are a few things, that you think the folks would have seen as glaring issues before releasing this product (unless they are so evil that they only want you to purchase their $700 sound bar and their overpriced mounting hardware).First the bar spacing for the back mounting. The mounting holes are inconveniently 24” apart. I bought a mounting kit for outdoor mounting on uneven surfaces, and low and behold that 24” gap prevented it from being hung on the bracket bars.THE SOUND is horrible! For the price, this should be no issue, there are plenty of outdoor speakers that are waterproof that sound great, heck, my iPhone has some waterproofing and it doesn’t sound like this. The audio sounds like it’s being played out of a coffee can. The fact that it sounds so horrible seems intentional. When I purchased the TV I figured if it was an issue that I could connect my Bluetooth speaker (since the TV has Bluetooth). Can you? NOPE! It appears the TV deliberately doesn’t pickup BT Speaker signals. Do you need the $700 Sylvox speaker? No, you can use any audio speaker with the headphone jack, but, this is 2024, not 2004. I cannot imagine, being the CEO or even the Quality Assurance team at Sylvox and being okay with releasing such a poorly sounding product.Yellow Tinted Screen Edges: When playing at night time, you can very much see yellow/green tinting around the edges of the entire screen when the scene is dark. It makes it appear cheap and poorly made.I’m so much invested in this TV now, that returning it would be such a headache. But had I known what I know now, I would have never ordered it. It may be waterproof but at the expense of super unusable sound and poor image quality, I should have just gotten an indoor tv mounted to a cart that I could wheel inside when the weather got bad.

Clear picture, vivid colors and reduced glare compared to tv we had previously which was NOT an outdoor tv. Wow, what a difference. We keep an outdoor waterproof cover on it when not in use just because it keeps screen clean (from dust, pollen etc). Very satisfied.

We bought this TV in July 2023, and it sat in its box for almost a year because we had just moved and we hadn’t yet setup our outdoor space. We finally set it up, loved it, and it stopped working after about two weeks. We woke up one morning and the TV was flashing white at the bottom of the screen, nothing else. I emailed customer service asking if there was anything they could do, and they quickly replied and worked with me to get a replacement sent to us within a week of my initial email. They have been so kind and helpful, and followed up to make sure the new TV works. They sent a shipping label and we will pack up the old tv in the new tv’s box and send it back on its way at no cost to us.Excellent customer service from Sylvox, and a wonderful and very user friendly TV!

After much research, I landed on the Sylvox outdoor TV for a real estate client. It arrived quickly from Amazon and packaged well. Easy to install on a bracket. This is an open-air full-sun area facing west so we went with the Pool Series for maximum brightness. Two remotes are included, and the outdoor one is water-resistant (proof?) which was an added bonus. We later experienced an issue due to moving damage later on and the Sylvox service team was very responsive via email and able to put together a solution for us that left us happy. Would recommend this product!
