Honey Orchid Oolong Tea China - Phoenix Dan Cong Chinese Tea - Guangdong Mi Lan Xiang Wu Long Tea

bought this after receiving a tip on it as a sleep aid and boy does it work great - I felt like i was tranquilized. Toughest night for me to get a solid night of sleep is always Sunday night. Drank a cup of tea brewed from this right after dinner and when it came time for bed i was out like a light, with my alarm waking me up after 8 hrs. I feel refreshed and roaring to go for the work week.

Mi Lan Xiang Dan Cong is one of my most favorite teas. And this particular tea is an amazing example of honey orchid Dan Cong oolong.My experience with Dan Cong oolong is that there is always a balancing act of finding tea trees that will provide both the honey/peach sweetness along with deeper notes. Whether it is the cultivar used in this tea or the second roasting, or a combination of the two - this particular tea is the finest of all the Mi Lan Xiang oolongs I have tasted over the years.I do recommend using gongfu style steeping to enjoy the transitions this tea goes through from its initial rinse to as many as 10 steepings.I love this tea so much that I have just purchased a year’s supply.

Different than I thought it would be. A lot more earthy and less fruity than people made it seem to be. A lot deeper of a flavor rather than the light and airy oolongs I’m used to. Note, I bought the Phoenix Dan Cong Oolong. This page is weird because all the reviews are for all the different varieties listed in the flavor options so the reviews can be misleading.

I recently went to an afternoon tea where they served honey oolong. It was amazing, brought me back to my childhood. Desperately looked to find it online and stumbled on this.... sadly, this isn’t it. This tastes, like a previous review mentioned, like it’s been artificially perfumed. Even the smell is completely different. I wonder if that restaurant will ever tell me where they source that oolong from....

My favorite tea. Tasted it in Beijing at the Made in China restaurant in the Grand Hyatt. The waiter wrote down the name of the tea and I found it while searching the internet for it at Amazon! It’s exactly as I remembered it and ordered another for my daughter

The tea isn’t fresh for this year first flush. Thé tea leave withered a lot and looks so dry. Hence, it changed the taste as if your sipping on a low quality Darjeeling tea but paying for premium quality tea.

I bought the oriental beauty and it is now my favorite tea it's a very fine and delicious tea it's mellow and sweet and can be resteped 7 times the pictures show the tea perfectly you get a good amount as well definitely will buy again

Mi è piaciuto il sapore energico come piace a me, la mattina è un piacere per me bere un tè dal sapore forte, robusto, saporito, come faccio ormai da molti anni; In casa non mi devono mai mancare quattro o cinque tè di diversa marca e tipologia.

Premesso che non avevo mai provato un gaba, lo trovo un po' troppo "erboso" rispetto ad altri oolong a cui va la mia preferenza. Considerato il costo elevato di questo prodotto, il mio consiglio - se volete sempre restare sullo stesso venditore e sull'oolong - è quello di puntare ad un oolong classico come il Da Hong Pao, costa un po' di più, ma lo trovo sinceramente su un altro livello per intensità e complessità del bouquet.

Questo tè è un'ottimo Oolong dalla Cina. Acquistato diverse volte, sempre delizioso. Consigliatissimo.
