Needed to extend the short aux lead on my Hyper X headphones so it could reach my TV and any other devices I might need to plug them into in the future, comfortably. After some searching and scanning through reviews I went with this product.No regrets, it's priced very reasonably, no cheap feeling materials like any plastic bits or anything like that. Both the male and female ends seem good quality and sturdy and I know it's not a major thing but I really like the look and design of the female socket. It doesn't look or feel like a £6.99 product, fresh out of a sweatshop like many products often can. The female socket is all metal apart from the small rubber bit connecting the wire to the socket of course and the wire itself feels like a good enough quality rubber material that I'm confident I'll never have any problems there.All of the connecters feel nice and rigid and not loose at all and it feels nice and firm when I plug the male aux into my TV's audio socket and the same when plugging my headset into the female socket, it's all nice and tight feeling which is of course a good sign of quality build.As for any loss of sound quality, I'm no audiophile but I've noticed none whatsoever and my headphones sound exactly as they do when plugged directly into my audio inputs, so no problems there. Maybe to a seasoned audiophile's ear they may notice something, idk, but I certainly haven't.For the price and quality of this, this is something you can buy to extend your audio devices connectivity and not need to replace for many years from what I can tell.(4* durability simply because I've only had it for a week, if I happen to stumble across it in a couple of years from now and it's still going strong, I'll update to a 5.)

Feels good quality and no loss in sound for either headphone speakers or mic for audio.Allows you to be much further away from source without needing wireless devices.

I used this to give me more movement room with my wired headset, and it gave me just that. It's sleek and tough, but not firm, jacket, has taken on a few months of daily use without fraying or denting, and seems it will last quite some time before showing any signs of wear.

Looks nice, worked well for a while but soon developed breaks in the wires. I was using headphones a lot at the time (lockdown teleconferencing) and the cables are always first to go. This one was slightly below average for durability. For an application with minimal moving and twisting, it would be great.
