Easy to fit
Despite this being fairly cheap it seems of good quality, but time will tell.It was very easy to fit and came with all the extra bits you may need just in case. It took me around 30 minutes to fit (I'm 72) and works much better than my old one. The one I had was an integrated bath/shower head but the flow control was not working right so replaced it with this. The anti scald temperature control is a bonus but in this weather I prefer the water to be a bit warmer. The flow control is also responsive so the flow can also get hot if needed. Its a stop gap as I will be at some time in the future taking the bath out and putting a walk in shower in as its much easier for me. I may even re use this as well.

Fantastic thermostatic bath mixer shower taps
Really pleased, works an absolute treat - set to a specific temperature and it's constant, no need to adjust. Installed 2 months ago and still in great condition, no complaints at all.

Good Value!
Delivered on time and in good packaging. Thanks Amazon!Impressed by the quality considering the price. However, not expected to have some fresh water inside the mixer. Checked overall with no other problems. Easy installation.

Excellent value and quality.
So, my existing valve assembly of 10 years had started to drip from the temperature control end and the flow control end a times too. Pricing up the parts it seemed to be uneconomical to repair even if I could find the correct parts. Given the reviews of this item I decided to go for it.it was a straightforward swap for my existing valve and only took 15 minutes to change. The only issue I had was the chrome nuts on the new valve are deeper than my existing unit so I had to use two rubber washers otherwise the nuts hit the chrome bezels before there was a watertight seal. It works well with stable temperature. Hopefully it lasts a few years too.

Really good shower mixer tap bar - decent price too.
Arrived quickly. But mainly looks to be of quality even though manufactured in China, exported to Germany and then imported to the UK, looks like some effort has been made to make this a good mixer bar tap. I opened it once i received it and it had it all to get it installed, a couple of mirror covers, also a couple of adjustable connection screw pipes, and even had a little, plumbers tape to put over the crew part to ensure a good seal, also the tap came in a cloth bag I assume to keep it marks free as also a pair of cloth gloves included to not mark bar on installation. I was replacing an identical tap that was great for over 20 years hope this one lasts as long or over. Was very easy to install only took me 5 minutes and as far as I can see works great. also came with four mesh filter washers to avoid debris getting into the tap system...really well packed and appears to be working really well as my old tap was knackered only letting a very little water pass, so like a trickle shower ... now is all powerful again great!!!

Brilliant!
My old shower was from a well known DIY company. After it started going wrong I researched it and found out that the royal institute of plumbers rated it the worst shower head in existence! Happily this shower head is par excellence! Fitted myself in around 20 minutes and it just works! I’m able to have showers again! Dry very happy with this purchase!

Looks good, but that's it.
Despite "next day delivery", my first one was delayed a day (with no reason given). Had to be returned as it had a faulty ceramic valve - water was leaking on the side where you turn the water on/off. And the delivery of the replacement was also delayed by a day! On both occasions the delivery status was saying "due by 10.00pm" and this wasn't changed to "delayed" until the following day!Anyhow, now been in-situ for just over six weeks and the diverter switch/button is giving trouble. It won't press all the way down, which means when you want water coming from just the tap to fill the bath, you still get water flowing from the shower head! The only way to make the button go all the way down - is to loosen the 1/2 inch hose connector, but this results in water dripping from that connection because it's not tightened enough! So there's obviously an internal fault. This looks good, but the quality is really poor. A tap that becomes faulty after just 6 weeks is not fit for purpose. There's quite a few of similar looking taps on Amazon, but all different 'makes' - so I wonder whether all are made by the same manufacturer, but marketed under various brand names?Amazon are not interested in rectifying the problem. Their solution? Return it for a refund. I explained that it's a bath tap fitted in place, so can't just be removed and returned. Plus there is the additional labour cost. As with a lot of baths, the taps end is up against a wall, which means underneath there's very little room to get to both taps without a specialist long-handle, angled spanner - so I've no choice but to call in a plumber to remove/refit. Oh yeah, Amazon did advise to contact the manufacturer (Uten) direct and gave me a website address - but this doesn't appear to exist!
