If your thinking the quality is even close to that of the 3.75 oz. Pacific Pearl by CHICKEN of the SEA smoked clams, it isn't. Not even close. I've cooked the clam chowder soup many times using Pacific Pearl. The cans were always packed with tender clams covered in a rich tasty clam juice. No need to add the store bought jar of clam juice to enhance the flavor. In my case, the 10 oz. cans look to be filled with water having only a faint smell of clam. As for the taste, I actually could not detect much of a clam flavor. No return. Notified Amazon twice. No response. So, I've been feeding my case of 10 oz. clams to the feral cats in my back yard. Given some of the reviews I've read could be I simply got a bad batch. Stuff happens...

These clams were canned whole which made a much tastier claim chowder than chopped clams. Also, in the past I'd purchased mega sized cans & the smaller can size made it easier to tailor the recipe to smaller # of guests.

My daughter has being eating these, so I went ahead and bought my own. These are better than Bumble Bee brand to me. Get you some pasta and zesty Italian dressing you got a quick meal. There are a lot in this can for two people or save a half for later. Great buy.

Family was particularly delighted with these clams in red sauce linguine. Our pocket book was also charmed.

More than half of the cans were dented. I have never had a shellfish allergy. I made clam cakes with these in June. Four hours after eating, sick as a dog. Thought it may have been a fluke so tried them in chowder in January. Same thing, sick as a dog. I was afraid I had developed a shellfish allergy but my wife's chowder recipe is so good I had to try again. This time with Snow's clams from the good ole' USA. No problem what so ever. Stay as far away from these Chinese clams as you can...Unless you like puking your guts out for three hours that is.

The canned goods got here when u said they wud. Card board box was damaged but cans were okay.

These were tiny sized, like smoked canned oysters and are, cheaper priced in comparison to Pacific Pearl Cove Oysters, they were flavorless, would not purchase again. 11 cans to use 😞 Price has doubled since 2 years ago on my favorite. Will pay the price for my favorite
