Can't beat the price for different locks and keys
Children 3-5 in our Atrium at church loved the different keys, locks and box. Kept them busy for a long time.

CODE IS 000
PSA: The code is 000 when the closed part of the lock is on the left (as pictured).Cons-No instructions. Had to guess the code.-No backup black key.-Smallest lock didn't come with a key.Pros-Backup keys included and little pouch.-Pretty much what we were looking for!

Good Practice for Motor Skills
My mom specializes in early childhood education and development so when shopping for toys for the kids, I'm conditioned to get things that are not only fun but also have some educational benefit. This leads us to seek a lot of things that are specifically labeled as STEM and Montessori toys. I really like this lock set for the kids. The boys are 2, 3, and 6 and they all have fun with these. The locks encourage some critical thinking and problem solving as some of the keys are color coded to match the locks while others are not. It's also great for working on their fine motor skills and dexterity. For the oldest, he can become impatient at times so these locks are truly an exercise in patience for him. It's been helpful for him to actually get some small chests and lockboxes to fill with prizes and attach the locks to them. The toy is also great because it teaches a common and realistic life skill, just think of how often you have to lock or unlock something every day.

Defective locks
Most of the locks were easily broken and could not be repaired. The part that the key fits into came out of one of the locks. Several others the metal loop came out of the bases. The combination lock came without a combination to open it. Only one lock remains intact. Cheaply made.

Good idea!
This is a great idea, I was hoping for larger keys, ultimately the keys were too small for my child.
