I like this pad because I can paint a study on paper without the stress of messing up a canvas. This is an inexpensive alternative to canvas and it’s actually a nice oil painting surface

These are versatile, and you can use your chosen medium (it doesn't just have to be oil paint; you can use other stuff, like Acrylics). These are good if you want to create smaller paintings without working on a stretched canvas surface. They are fully primed and ready for use. Great for smaller art works and can be used in smaller frames (much like a photograph).

I use it especially for using my watercolor pencil. It comes out so nice. Don’t be afraid to use different mediums. That canvas paper is really amazing.

I bought these for my cousin who paints. She makes cards and bookmarks, and she said this paper is very good for it and is very pleased with how well it holds up to paint.

Affordable way to practice my techniques!

I was quite pleased with the heavy weight of this canvas paper. I have used other brands of lighter weight canvas paper when I lead a few acrylic painting parties in the past for friends and co-workers, and that canvas paper was great for exploring mixing colors or for experimenting with textures and techniques with brushstrokes, natural sponges, and old gift cards before painting on the actual canvas. I appreciate that this canvas paper is 140 lb. weight.I had purchased Tumuarta Watercolor Paper in the past, mostly for swatching and testing color mixing and brushes. I was pleased with the paper for daily painting practice without using my more expensive paper. It held up well. When I saw that this canvas paper was the same brand, I decided to give it a try for my acrylic painting.This can be easily cut into 4.5 x 6" and 6 X 9" sizes for smaller paintings as well as for journal pages to include in a painting journal with watercolor papers. I will probably tape a full sheet to a board and prop that up on my easel for stability since I have not yet tried an actual painting on canvas paper. I look forward to creative experimentation with this sturdy canvas paper.
