I bought this for a trip after reading that the hotel did not have a coffee maker in the room. (Although it turned out that it did.) I like having tea in the evening and a lot of hotels don't have coffee/tea service at nice or else I just don't want to go out of my room to fetch it.Anyhow, the travel kettle fit well into my personal bag for the flight and I set it up in the hotel room bathroom. The kettle takes a few minutes to boil water, it's not fast, maybe five minutes, but it does a good job. There's enough water for one cup of coffee or tea, or hot water for instant cereal, etc. The cord can store inside the kettle for travel, although I took care to wrap it so it wouldn't scratch the interior. When you get the kettle, everything comes shipped inside -- so make sure to look inside before you think the cord is missing!There are a few temperature settings, which is nice because some teas brew best at boiling while others need a lower temperature to avoid being too bitter. It's fairly straightforward to set the temperature. It was supposed to beep three times to tell me that the water was boiled, but it didn't beep at the 212F setting and for the 176F setting it beeped once.This isn't the kind of appliance that you plug in an walk away so the beeping (or not) is not a big deal for me. I boil the water and immediately unplug the kettle. It does have a grounded cord and the cord is long enough for countertop use without being so short that you need to shove the kettle up against the wall to use it.Finally, it looks nice. I have the beige color and it has a bronze/gold stripe that gives it a bit of bling. I probably won't use it very often at home but this has earned a place in my luggage for travel.

Good quality with a good amount of capacity. Easy to carry around and it gives you different selection to heat the water. Overall it’s well designed and meets my expectations if you are looking for an easy to carry water heater.

Nice little kettle. Very portable. Fits nicely into my backpack. Holds about 2 cups of water so is perfect to heat water for a cup of tea or cocoa. Heats fast. I like that I can pick how hot I want the water. Very easy to use and clean.

I need a kettle for tea and when travelling not all hotel rooms have kettles. I need to pack light, so this travel kettle is not too heavy, compact and easy to clean. Operation is very simple. Not super fast though, but fast enough.

I bought this portable kettle for my travel. I have taken it with me to quite a few trips now and I really like it! It comes very handy when I need some hot water to make noodles when I arrive at the hotel late at night. It is very easy to use and boils water fast, even in high elevations. I do not need to use the coffee maker in the hotel to make hot water now. I can easily make cup noodles with this kettle in just a few minutes. The size of this kettle can easily fit in my backpack. I will pack it for every trip in the future.
