Keeping warm
The weight of bag and compactness of bag

Not great didn’t keep me warm at 35 F
I just used it last weekend. I like that this is light weight and compact. Unfortunately this is not good below 45 degrees Fahrenheit. I had to keep myself warm all night in 35 degree low by wearing thermal long John’s under the fleece jogger and a hooded down jacket with insulated sleep pad under this along with a down blanket inside as a liner and another over the bag. Great if you don’t plan on using it below 45 degrees, but even then I feel like, this is not gonna be warm.

Comfy and warm
Love this sleeping bag! I’ve tried a few other brands and this one by far beats them all. I struggle keeping warm on colder night but this had no issue keeping me warm through the night.

Nice Down Bag
Nice rectangular duck down sleeping bag. (Amazon listing says it’s filled with goose down, but the tag on the sleeping bag says it’s actually filled with duck down.) Well stitched bag, and the down is evenly distributed throughout the bag. Nice zipper. Nice stuff sack. This sleeping bag’s shiny, waterproof nylon fabric (both shell and lining) also appears to be surprisingly air tight. When I first unpacked the sleeping bag, unzipped it, and gave it a good shaking, it took a lot longer than I expected for enough air to seep in to allow the down to restore its loft. The good news is that it did eventually fluff up nicely. I guess an advantage of air tight fabric would be that it’s also wind proof. Despite my disappointment about not getting the goose down I thought I was promised, the bag is definitely made of quality materials and assembled with good workmanship – so I will still give it five stars.

Decent sleeping bag
It's a pretty decent sleeping bag. It's definitely lighter than my other sleeping bag that's more traditional looking with a fleece lined inside. However, I don't think this is the best option when hiking and camping. It's light, but I think the bulk could be a little frustrating. One thing I do like is that the bottom of the bag can be unzipped and left open, especially since I'm a hot sleeper. But I do question it's ability to keep me warm at below freezing temps. We haven't had any nights yet below 43 degrees, so I haven't had an opportunity to try it when it's really cold. But I camp till about the end of November, so we will see how it does. And of course, make sure you have a pad to sleep on. This is not thick at all, so you will feel every bump in the ground.Right now the price of this sleeping bag is $83.99, which seems a bit high to me. But I suppose that's subjective. If I encounter any issues down the road, I'll circle back and update this review.

Warm!
Ok so this is a comfortable sleeping bag that actually keeps you warm. The stitching is good and the bag seems durable enough to last for several years with normal usage. Zips perfectly, roomy enough for sure. Bottom zips open and closed for ventilation, but, personally, I can't sleep comfortably with my legs or feet hanging out of the bag. Honestly, I did not think I would get it back in the storage bag, but it was super easy to roll back small enough to get it in and zipped up! Have not tried at freezing temps yet. Pricing seems a bit high but still recommended.
