My immediate impression was how much heavier than the mount I was replacing this was. It was easily twice the heft (and possibly more). The materials - even the plastic ones - were sturdy and had a solid feel. My old chair mount had actually bent and was showing signs of breakage. I am not that heavy (under 300 lbs) but still a beefy guy and it kind of pissed me off that the chair (which was supposed to hold up to 350 lbs) had failed so quickly (less than 2 years).The Besitu fit right in place and make an immediate and dramatic improvement in the comfort, operation and level of the chair. It allowed me to keep the part of the chair I liked (The chair part) without having to spend the money to replace the entire chair.

I'm a Mechanical Engineer. This mount is about 4 times thicker than the one it is replacing and the pivot point is about double the diameter of the one in the chair. Solid and a great fit. No wobble and no squeak anymore. Worth the money.

Hello Amazon,I bought this mount as a replacement for an older chair that I needed a new gas tube for. The chair itself was in good shape, but the mechanism over the years had its wear and tear, plus younger me did not know how to get the old piston loose ( before you tube existed) so, time to buy a new one. Built well, really seems solid, and the replacement support fit right in. The bolt holes into the chair cushion lined up, and in typical replacement time including a phone call, the chair was put back into my office and I am sitting on it now. I paired it with the Ohmyoffice brand chair cylinder as they promised a 1000 pound class 4 support. I am nowhere near that heavy, but heavy duty chair mount, heavy duty chair cylinder. so far so good. I think if you have to replace yours, this might be the one!Thank you for reading my review.

Never thought I'd be repairing a 23 yo Sam's Club office chair but I can't seem to find its equivalent. After trying and returning 3 different replacement chairs I decided to give this pivot-swivel a shot. Wish I would have done this 2 years ago when the problems started. The swap was easy and everything works great.

This bracket fit my 500# capacity office chair perfectly. It is much more heavy duty than the original. The metal is thicker and probably weighs 50% more at least. I’m very happy about being able to repair my old chair rather than having to dispose of it.

IT WAS OKAY, EXCEPT I HAD TO ALTER THE HOLE PATTERN SOME AND THE TILT MECHANISMDOES NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY!!!
