I bought this so my shrimp would have a place to hide from the fishies who share their tank. They fish aren't aggressive but the shrimp still appreciate having a place they can get away. Plus, I direct their food into the cave so the fish can’t possibly steal it. The micro pellets fit through fabulously and then the shrimp can eat in peace

It's good for babies but the adults are too big to fit in it. I wish they had one with bigger holes because I have one adult that keeps trying her best to get in there.

The holes are way too small, it helped a few of my baby shrimp hide from my betta, but my adult shrimp can’t fit inside it. If the holes were a little bigger, I would be happy. On another note, it catches a lot of debris and considering my shrimp can’t get in there to clean any food, I have to vacuum it up.It’s good quality, it just needs larger holes.

It's good and sturdy. My shrimp haven't found it yet but it works well for smaller shrimp like neocardina.

Awesome design! unfortunately I put it in not realizing everyone in my baby betta sorority is still small enough to fit through the holes and wanted to claim it as their home! Ill be putting it back in once they all grow

I brought this home to my betta tank in hopes of getting shrimp this week. As you see there is a betta fish in the picture which should not be there, my female betta fish got to adventurous and got stuck in a hole. She has located scales and may need medical attention. I do not recommend having this in your FISH tank. Smaller vertebrae should be fine. Fish are a no go unless you want them to get injured.

Came just as described. Washed it and put it in there and now went from 3 to 20 shrimp. Money well spent. The younger guppies love it too and go in and out the holes too
