BEAST of a machine
This thing is an absolute BEAST. All functions on this device make it well worth the price. I work out of my garage (which is insulated, but not like a house would be) and it keeps up with the CA heat quite well. It does draw alot of power, so it needs it's own outlet to keep from tripping breakers. Control from my phone to set it up and ease of use is outstanding. It is quiet enough where you can hear it running, but it's not intrusive.

Great machine
Amazing air conditioner! Bought one last year. Bought another for the living room. Very quiet and cools down my high ceiling apartment. Not having to empty the water every few weeks is great.Unfortunately I missed place the hose for the one I bought last year. I called the company to get a replacement. Jane was very helpful, she sent me a new hose and called to check to see if I had received the item. I give this company and customer service 5 stars all day.

Cool and easy
Great cooling ability, the remote is nice, air filter is easy to clean. I have been using it for a few months now in my upstairs master bedroom. The room gets A-LOT of sun which heats the house and also is the 4th floor so the heat is rising as well. I have never had to drain it using the cooling mode (might have to for dehumidify) but I thought that was great because I used to have to drain my old one each day. I also appreciate the window pieces that come with it and the foam seal and the instructions. I was able to bring the box inside myself and up the stairs. I did have my husband bring it up the next 2 sets of stairs - just something to keep in mind. I also think the price for the item is great compared to others.

Awesome A/C
Great product. Works as expected. Nice having the water evaporated through heated exhaust. Used 1 season. Only had to drain 1 time due to very high humidity level, evaporator couldn't keep up, however, auto shutoff kept water from overflowing on to the floor.

Only first day but it's neat
The window installation is not as time consuming as it seems. The adhesive tape is very sticky and foam is weak so make sure you don't touch the sticky part or it will tear the foam when you try to pull it off. I'd recommend you installing the window hose before you attach it to the plastic window cover to prevent any damages to the window cover.I've already had a DREO smart fan so the app was easy to use. After plugging it in, the startup was quick and easy, the color display was bright and nice. Now the negatives... I'm not sure if my model was a used one since it was missing a few things...Each of these were listed as included on the booklet, it was missing the:Drain hose (to let the built up water exit without hassle)Remote battery (to control the device)L-shape window lock and screws (to prevent opening the window from the outside for security)2 week update:The AC was working fine, but the weather here jumped up from the 70's to mid 80's in just a day. Now there's water built up and leaking all over the place, the wood tile floor is warping because it was leaking for a while and no one noticed. As I previously mentioned, the drainage hose wasn't included/missing in our package so we got nothing to drain the water out yet until we buy one separately. Very displeased... a missing piece of rubber tube resulted in all this water damage...1 Month & FINAL UPDATE!!The company finally sent a replacement for missing parts last week.To set it up, I placed it on top of 2 benches to make sure that the hose will send the water right down and not get stuck before reaching the jug. I wanted to try it out based on some of the other reviewer's experiences so I connected the hose to a .5 Gal. jug of Tropicana orange juice and I was going to wait a few days.BIG MISTAKE!! After a few hours and the 1/2 Gal. jug was overflowing and leaking water everywhere. If I had connected the hose to a pot of plant, that plant would've drowned in a few hours.I got a couple of old recycled 5 Gal. water Jugs and connected it to that immediately. So I thought, maybe now I wont have to empty the water out for a while. WRONG!! I took a power rest and when I woke up, it was 7hrs and time for work. It only took 7 hrs, and already half the jug was filled, that's 2.5 Gals in 7 hrs!!So why does the product get a low score? Not because for it's ability to cool down my bedroom, that part it does just fine, but I could've done the same with a window AC, and then I wouldn't have to give up indoor and floor space or even keep track of it as often. I got it so I wouldn't have to deal with the water overflowing mess. That was the whole point of this "Air Conditioner for Bedroom with Drainage-free Cooling".THAT WAS A COMPLETE FAIL. There are plenty of OTHER LOWER-COSTING portable AC's around that are Alexa compatible, but this was the only one that claimed to be "DRAINAGE-FREE". *Sigh* Well... it's been a few days over a month... so I'm stuck with it, don't make my same mistake... Look elsewhere buddies~

I bought all the other portable air conditioners on the market. This is the one you want.
I've been suffering through heat waves in California the last few weeks, and I was dying to get some air conditioning installed in my room with a window kit. After trying five (yes, I was desperate and tried FIVE) portable A/C units, I ultimately settled on this one.The window kit was a bit annoying to get installed, but ended up being the most sturdy overall. Some of the other A/C units claimed to get down to ~60F, but they all honestly kinda sucked and typically could get my room down to ~68F. This unit is rated for 65F, and has gotten my room down to 63F according to my room thermometer.I've been running this thing a lot, and I'm in an area that typically ranges in the 50-70% humidity range. I haven't had to drain it at all, which has been another huge win in my book. This thing has connected to the WiFi and STAYED CONNECTED. My smart home setup is Google Home, and it has handled commands like, "set the A/C to sleep mode", "set the A/C to 68 degrees", "turn the A/C off" like a charm.Out of all the units, this one was DEFINITELY the quietest. The other Air Conditioning units I used were really loud when the compressor would toggle on and off. I felt like the other units were impossible to sleep next to and leave on over night. While this has the sound level of a fan running on max speed, it's the most tolerable out of all the other unitsOut of all the units I got, it feels like it was the largest and perhaps the heaviest main unit overall, but I made it work. If you're shopping around and comparing units, as of October 2024, this is absolutely the one to get!
