I cannot tell you how much I appreciated this brace.My big beautiful German Shepherd was suffering in the hips and it was getting worse, he was 13 years old and unfortunately, he has now gone on to heaven. This brace was a blessing the last few weeks of his life. It allowed me to hold the handle near his hips to help him whenever he could not help himself. I would tighten the strap along the back when he was up and walking, and I would loosen it greatly when he wanted to lay down otherwise it seemed to hurt him. The hip handle I used many times to help him. This brace is high-quality, it did not bother him to wear it, and it was easy to fit him for it. The Velcro areas seem to be very high-quality and he was a very furry shedding puppy dog of 109 pounds. This did not seem to affect the Velcro fasteners at all. I never had trouble with the Velcro, trying to come undone on its own. Trooper wore an extra large brace.It did not take too long to receive it, which I was grateful for as I needed it as soon as I could get it. If you have a dog suffering in the hips, I would highly recommend this product.

Looked well made and easy to fit to my pup. It functioned well to help us support her walking with the weakness in her back legs. She seemed to be comfortable wearing it.

We used this for our 10 yr old GSD when she was having hip dysplasia issues. I had been using a large beach towel to assist her at the beginning but this was too difficult so my vet recommended a sling to make assisting her easier. This sling was one of several that I purchased. I returned the others but kept this one as it was the only one that allowed her to void without having to remove the sling or getting the sling dirty. It also helped keep her leg from protruding due to the hip dysplasia which allowed her to assist me in helping her. Although it's pricy, it was definitely was worth the cost to make her last days comfortable.

I liked fast shipping and quality of product, so far. It fit my lab dog to size. She seems to like it and walks better when using it.I could see she was struggling this winter in using her leg. Once I put it on she started walking by end of day her tail was high again. After using it for a couple days she was moving better through the house.Going up and down back steps seemed better now with brace on.I liked that it had loops to grab back if boost was needed. Also easy to adjust it, it took a couple days to get it right. This was mostly because my dog’s leg was bending out and was straightened more each day.It was a slight learning curve to put it on. Two people helping works best one to steady dog while you get braces on.Overall I would recommend this again. Right now I haven’t seen a negative about it.

The sizing is off, maybe the customized one would be better.

I was hoping this would be helpful to my 50 pound Aussie with hip arthritis but the rear portion is very heavy and was too much weight for him to stand in, let alone walk in. The front harness could not be adjusted to fit his neck and back, no matter how the straps were reconfigured. The solid chest and back pieces were too small/short for his chest and back. The neoprene chest piece bunched up and would not stay centered. Strap-wise he would swim in a larger size. Returning this item today.
