We needed more storage for the long vacations and after seeing the price I was not sure if it was gonna be a good fit. After installing with the Amazon basics crossbars the fit was pretty easy to get and installing was much easier than other roof racks and kayak racks I’ve had. I’m happy with the quality and how much you can put in the bag. I can take the rack off by myself with no issues due to how light it was. Good sturdy and supports a lot for how cheap it was to purchase.

I love this rack it is very easy to setup , very sturdy no noise when on the highway ready for camping , works perfectly for loading extra camping gear , best roof rack on the market for its price point ..

I gave 4 stars because straps, lock, net were not in the bag. I have not taken the bag out so I am assuming it is okay. I contacted seller this morning through Amazon for replacement items. I will change it to 5 stars if they come through. I haven't driven since putting it on but I will go on some bumpy roads and then tighten the screws down again. Overall, great product for the price. Also, it is spot welded but looks like it should hold up fine. A few noticable scratches due to the ties they used in packaging but that's not a big deal to me, it may be to others.

Once it put together it is very sturdy. The instructions are not very clear so I would recommend coming back to these photos of it to figure out how to put it together. All and all I recommend it for the low price.

It fits my Subaru Forester perfectly. Its size and cargo space are perfect for my car and can accommodate all my gear for camping. The installation steps are very simple and the overall structure is strong and sturdy.

It fit perfectly on my 2010 Cadillac Escalade. We took a 2000 mile trip and the basket stayed secure and in the same place the entire trip.I used Blue Loctight and had no issues. I highly recommend adding this. I didn’t have any issues, but could see the nuts backing off without it.

The video they have of the man installing this rack is incorrect. I will upload a video of proper instillation. This is the second roof rack of purchased on Amazon over the last year because we sold our last vehicle. The other one was $180 and this one was just over a hundred bucks and this one is way better quality! Literally everything about this one is better quality. The number one reason I chose this one is the mounting brackets. The last one I had and just like many others on Amazon the bolts were protruding upward in the storage area and anything I put on the roof rack would get cut up and slowly destroying everything up there. My cooler has big giant scratches all over the bottom, not just surface scratches. This one you can put a table in it and it won't touch any bolts or threads it's perfectly flat. The other one I received when I was inspecting inside the tubing before putting it together there was already surfaced rest forming! This one was perfect and absolutely no raw metal showing everything was coated. The previous one I caulked all of the ends before putting it together to help prevent rust but this one I did not see it necessary as everything was coated perfectly.

You get what you pay for. There’s a reason this one is cheaper than its competitors, it’s cheaply made. They didn’t even fully press a bolt I received, which is a big deal because they didn’t provide a single extra fastener. The clamps that hold it to the rails are ridiculously complex. The assembly is just awkward and I feel like the thing is going to eventually fly off because it’s so cheaply made. There are many other options and I suggest you go with one of those instead of getting this thing.
