Easy to install,Fast!
My first e-bike conversion. Installed in less than an hour, using a 52 volt battery from my ego-lawn mower.Wow! It’s way faster and more powerful than I imagined.Terrible Chinese to English instructions but the parts and connectors are so intuitive that even without instructions it would be easy to assemble.I’ll try to come back and update my experience after a few months.

Seems good
Instructions were a bit weak but videos helped. I initially didn't have the spacers on the inside of the fork and the wheel wouldn't turn freely. Also I needed to solder the battery connectors. Could have twisted them with a wire connector I guess.Very fast with a 48v 20ah battery. Plan to use it to commute to work.Edited after several trips. This was a good purchase. Working on more efficient use of the throttle. At first I was over throttling and my range was only about 25 miles but if I take it easy and ramp up slowly and keep it around 20mph I'm getting substantially more miles per charge. It tops out at about 32mph on flat straight path. I think I cam get closer to 40 miles if I take it easy on the throttle. Also in hindsight I would probably go with the front wheel and not the rear. That way I can keep the original gearing and not mess with the cheap gear cluster it came with.Overall really happy with the purchase.

So fun and easy to install
I was really worried about this kit working for me since its my first build. Put it on the front of a cheap huffy bike, and It will go around 30 MPH. Was easy to install. I have not messed with the PAS sensor because I don't have the tool for that. NOTE: if you unplug the blue wires coming out of the control module you will unlock the full speed.

Impressive value
The motor and controller that come with this kit are pretty amazing for the price. I was able to fit this motor to a 26" GT Stomper mountain bike with the frame bag and a 48v 15ah battery. With this set up I can easily get 35-40 miles without pedaling at all. The acceleration leaves a little to be desired, but that's just me. The top speed is great on a fully charged battery; I was able to get 33mph on my bike. This is an awesome kit. If you wanted to go cheap, you could get this and a 10ah battery for just shy of 450$ and throw it on a cheap bicycle and limit it to 750w (I would not recommend 1200w without disc brakes) Overall, this kit is a solid preformer. In the past two days I've been riding, I've put over 125 miles on the bike.

Fast, durable and awesome.
The iodized ring washer must be used with the cassette if you're installing on the rear. I've used the motorized wheel on two builds I want to rebuild and try on the front. What tubes and tires does everybody recommend? I recently configured mine into MPH off the metric system also have discovered the cruise control.

I would do it again
After 3 months and 400 Miles:ProNo issues with noise from hub or spokesController is good enough - would be nice if on screen guide would detail what settings are being changed instead of just showing a code.Powerful compared to similar hubs I have installedConBuilt for hobbyist not average folksShould include a PAS that does not require a crank pullerHarness to motor interface is poor - like most. This needs a connector so the rider can remove the rear wheel to change the tire. The current design requires the user to loosen up a harness to controller wires to allow and move over the rear wheel depending on how you routed this harness it can be quite a task. Again this is something that is seen all cheaper designs.

This product has suspiciously few bad reviews
So far this product has been a pain in my butt and nothing more. Despite my current wheel measurements matching that of my order, the pexmor rim is much more narrow, making my current tire and tube fit slightly too large. It took me an almost an hour to remove from my old rim and replace on the pexmor rim. Also because the rim is so narrow I had to heavily adjust my front rim brakes. The instructions are absolutely AWFUL they are very general and skip many steps. It made it impossible for me to follow correctly so I had to watch a ton of videos online and wing it. I believe it is all correct but it’s not powering up. I am getting a new battery to see if that is the issue but I wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t with the trouble I’ve already had. Additionally, there are random pieces that are not explained in the instructions and the bolts for the LCD panel are the worn size. Luckily I had some larger ones lying around. I have now spent probably 3+hrs trying to get this right. All in all I would absolutely not recommend this to someone and would not purchase again. I might even end up returning after I get the battery figured out. For $250 I’d expect a more complete kit and instruction manual. And NO the battery is not included.
