HUGE Civivi fan
I have become a huge Civivi fan due to the quality and functionality of their knives. They are not overly expensive but are well made and of very good quality. The Civivi Yonder is my go to pocket knife but I am splitting time with the Civivi Sendy. The Yonder had a more robust structure than the Sendy so it's better for some of the more rugged needs. The handle texture is absolutely great and looks phenomenal. The knife came razor sharp out the box and has kept its sharpness going on a few months. Has a great deep pocket clip. Would highly recommend this knife if you're looking for a sturdy, every day use type knife.

Civivi nailed the crossbar lock!
This knife is very impressive, it's a dark micarta which is very satisfying in the hand. The 14c28n blade with pvd coating is superb with high toughness and corrosion resistance. It's easy to sharpen to a keen edge and it holds it great for a knife of this low low cost! It's a comfortable 4 finger grip and it is totally ambidextrous. The clip is reversible and the crossbar is operable from either side! Crossbars are my favorite because they are very fidgety and fun to flip. The crossbar here is not too tight and is the perfect knife for a beginner! I love civivi and this is no exception. My favorite civivi of the year!

Awesome design and amazing build quality!
Fantastic knife. I remdomly came across metalcomplex's review and immediately fell in love with the design. I opted for the black g10 version {if you saw MCX's review you know why I didn't get the green micarta) and it is a stunner for this price point. The blade shape is unlike anything I've seen. The thinness of the blade stock and the overall light weight defy odds. The crossbar lock, action and detent? Flawless. Out of my entire collection consisting of Benchmade, Spyderco, civivi, kershaw, etc., I find myself currently carrying the Yonder the most. Excellent knife, regardless of the price.

Great quality at a fair price point!
Very nice EDC knife without breaking the bank. I am a hobby collector of many brands and price points. I have quickly become a big fan of the Civivi brand. They are of very good materials and the quality (fit & finish) is second to none in my opinion. They arrive sharp and there is no problem holding an edge. Highly reccomend the Yonder!

Week detent, but otherwise fantastic
This is a great little every day Carry pocket knife. I find that it fits great in my hand. I can easily fit three fingers on the main area, and my pinky sits on the angled rear portion of the handle.. The black G 10 scales feel great in the hand and while the blade stock is quite thin, the handle itself is a bit chunkier, which I actually like as it tends to fill out the hand and provides a good amount of grip. Now back to the blade, I really like the look of this, as it has a more traditional looking blade style. I’ve seen some people calling this a reverse tanto or modified sheep’s foot, but this is essentially an oversized spat such as you would see on a trapper knife. It cuts very well, having arrived very sharp out of the box as usual for this brand. The crossbar lock works well, however the one ding that I give it it’s that the detent at least on my version seems to be way too loose. I can literally just flick the knife with my hand without touching the crossbar lock and the blade will deploy. Essentially it opens and closes too easily and that is one area where I find myself just a bit nervous with it sitting in my pocket. I wonder if whether or not it’s just gonna open from jostling around. Having dropped this knife once or twice I can say that both times the blade deployed. I took the scales off, but there’s no way to easily adjust the spring as it does not have adjustable tension like many of Kizer‘s. I could play with the springs, but I’m not gonna do that. I haven’t really seen too many other people that have this issue so it’s probably just a one off, but it’s something to look out for. I don’t carry this in my pocket instead I keep this knife in one of my man bags in a little pouch along with the other tools that I carry in there. I wouldn’t let this dissuade you from purchasing since as I’ve said I have not encountered anybody else who is really had this problem but it’s an absolutely great every day Carry blade. The 14 C 28 and Blade steel is one of my favorites as it’s relatively easy to touch up and it’s very sharp very tough blade steel. Another good knife from Civivi.

Amazing Ergos and Crossbar Lock!
The media could not be loaded. I was curious to check out the Yonder. It did not disappoint! The spey shaped blade is great. A big belly with a nice point. Very practical. I am able to just get 4 finger grip. Definitely a mid sized knife. There is good jimping. I would love to see an extra row of jimping further down the blade. The crossbar lock is smooth and has a light detent. Easy open and close. The Yonder is a great midsize carry with a practical blade and easy to use.

Great EDC Knife!
This an amazing knife. The lock up is solid and I am a big fan of crossbar locking knives (great fidget factor)! The knife comes very sharp and the blade centering is perfect. I used the Yonder to cut last night’s vegetables and it sliced through them like nobody’s business. When putting it my front pocket I forget I even have it. It weighs under 3 oz. And does not take up a whole lot of real estate in my pocket like other knives. The micarta handles feel really good. I hope they come out with more variety like the satin blade with micarta handles. Also, I have bear paws for hands, so I little more length in the handle would be great. This is a knife that you don’t want to sleep on. I will be buying another couple of versions for my friends and myself!! :)
